He had the nerve to ask my husband to wait in his truck or he wasn't going to open up the bank? My husband went to his truck and the local police officers showed up and my husband explained to them. He didn't know what he did wrong. Police officers escorted him into the bank and out of the bank.

I've been to many horrible branches of WFB in California and elsewhere. But I'll take the welcoming local service gladly and gratefully. That's why I love living in this wonderful community. As far as the bank itself, if I wasn't so financially immersed and entangled with multiple financial products, I would have left them a long time ago. I despise their ethics and questionable practices. Hopefully I'll be able to do something about that someday. Meanwhile, this review is about this branch only. They're not responsible for the policies and restrictions of their corporate office, and they seem to do their best to make my experience as pleasant as they can under the circumstances.

I have been at the same place of business for six years yet they still hold every monthly deposit as if it was from someone new every single time. My co-workers get their $$ no later than one day after the $$ has been deposited yet I have to wait no less than 2 days and if the deposit happens on a Thursday or Friday, I won't see a deposit into my account until the following Monday. The result is several auto pays often get rejected because of this delay in accessable funds. I get penalized and fined often because of this. Unfortunately because this has been a recurring issue for 6 years, I'll need to find a different institution that doesn't participate in these unusual and inconvenient business practices.

We're long time customers here, and love the friendly, prompt service (there's rarely a line!)…read more Most times we are greeted by name when we walk in the door, and we recognize most employees there (as I said, long-time customers). They've always been helpful and responsive, providing a couple counter checks when I forgot my checkbook at home but needed to drop off payments to vendors in town, looking up balances and helping with CDs, hosting our safe deposit box, getting documentation lined up for transferring funds between institutions, doing some investment advising... I thought small town, brick-and-mortar, personal banking was a thing of the past, but it's alive and well in PT at First Fed. They have all the modern conveniences, too, if you prefer doing it on your mobile device or computer, even downloading to Quicken. We love it here!!
