I wanted to close an account that I had with my brother. The teller said she could do it for me but immediately changed her mind, saying I had to talk to a manager, so to take a seat in the lobby. Sitting, I texted back and forth to a couple friends, checked and answered emails, then ran out of things to do and just sat. One of the bankers came over and asked me what I was doing sitting there. I said I wanted to close an account. He said a teller can do that over there. I said I was over there and she told me to come over here. He went over there and didn't come back. At a certain point I checked the time and discovering I had been waiting a half hour, I went up to the tellers' window to ask if they had forgotten me. The teller who told me to wait said someone would be with me shortly. Shortly? I said, It's too late for that. So I went back to sitting and waiting. After awhile, the banker who had accosted me earlier was standing near the couch back, so I got his attention and asked what the problem was. He said they wanted to have a manager talk to me to make sure I wanted to close the account. The teller could have done it, but for this. I was furious. I said, If I say to a teller that I want to close an account, it doesn't mean I want to sit around waiting for a manager to talk to me about it; I WANT TO CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT. AND IF I DIDN'T WANT TO BEFORE, I WOULD NOW, SINCE YOU HAVE INCONSIDERATELY KEPT ME WAITING MORE THAN A HALF HOUR FOR NO REASON EXCEPT THAT YOU DON'T BELIEVE I KNOW WHAT I WANT. THERE IS NOTHING HE COULD POSSIBLY SAY TO ME NOW THAT WOULD MAKE ME WANT TO HAVE AN ACCOUNT HERE. THIS ACCOUNT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLOSED YEARS AGO BUT MY BROTHER NEGLECTED TO DO IT AND NOW MY BROTHER HAS DIED. CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT!! There was more to the story, of course, because he did finally close the account for me (after asking the manager if it was ok, so I had to wait some more while he checked) but I still feel furious every time I think of it. There's nothing I could have done: I couldn't close it myself; I couldn't leave because then it wouldn't get closed; I couldn't force them to do it if the manager had said he had to talk to me first; I couldn't even get the manager to come talk to me if he was going to sit at his desk in his cubicle talking to someone else for an hour (he never made an appearance, but was still occupied in his cubicle, from before I arrived and after I left). I don't know whether this is a universal policy of theirs, or whether they think I don't know what I want because I'm a woman or a senior or an Asian or I wasn't dressed like a banker, but I still feel this was offensive, outrageous and inexcusable. I wish I could give them negative stars. They don't deserve any stars, but I had to give them one or it wouldn't post this review. read more

If I could give this company a zero, I would. I'm not sure what planet they're living on, but any company that does not qualify the loss of a spouse and loss of a job as a "hardship" is truly just in it for the money. My husband recently passed away... following that was the lockdown from Covid-19 and I was laid-off from my job. I contacted all my credit card companies to look into financial assistance during this difficult time. CHASE CARD SERVICES was the ONLY company I contacted that did not see my husbands passing or my lay-off as a hardship!! They have foreclosed on many of my friends homes, not doing a single thing to help them during these times of hardship... so unless your job guarantees you employment, even during pandemics, and your spouse is immortal... I would highly recommend NOT opening an account with Chase! read more

We were greeted by an Asian gal and told us to sit bec there was only 1 banker who was attending to another client and the other one was taking lunch. We waited for over 30 mins and looked like iwe would be waiting more bec the other customer was on the phone talking to somebody while sitted across the banker dealing with some shit..whatever it was, we didnt wanna waste a second so we just walked out and said we will just go to a diff chase branch... After all that branch wasnt our first choice though.. It's a sign... the bank also was too small even few customers left bec didnt want to wait.. I definitely like this branch a lot more than the others because 1. The drive thru - you can easily make deposits and withdrawals without getting your lazy butt out the car! 2. The ATM machine inside - I have to get change for our businesses from time to time and i love that this machine can give me my 1's and 5's immediately without having to wait in line! And 3. I love how Chase banks themselves make my life so much easier.The new atm inside is great for deposits and getting change. The only times I come inside are when I need change for or restaurants. But when I can't use the atm I have to go to the tellers, and usually I don't have any issues but this one teller always has an attitude with me when I ask for coins change. She goes out of her way to hand me rolls of coins one by one. And then tells me to call ahead next time, when this has never been a problem before. Horrible service. read more

Worst Chase branch I've ever been to. The wait for the ONE teller they have on staff is unacceptable. They have blocked all other teller windows with an ATM to be sure you get the point; they do not like you utilizing the teller. If you are going to insist on a teller you will pay for it by waiting. Some of us are making business deposits that require using an actual person - they seem to forget that or just don't care. I've been banking at this location since I bought my house nearby, the drive thru is convenient but inside is a bunch of careless people. I own a business and I wanted to purchase business checks, after I called them they informed me to come in, get to the teller and she said to wait for someone to help me. The bank is very slow, nobody came to greet and I had someone else ahead of me but somebody walks in and she gets greet at door and been served right away. After 20 minutes waiting I just left and never come back unless they start to take care of they own customers properly read more
