With this being conveniently close to where I live I've mostly done all my transactions at this location and haven't had any problems. **PARKING** This BofA location is located in a busy plaza with chained businesses as well as local ones but the parking lot is huge and never seems to get full... like ever. There's even designated spots for BofA costumers but not sure if everyone listens to that. **STAFF** Staff is here pretty friendly and chill for the most part and really accommodating as far as any questions or concerns you may have about BofA. I've both had an appointment with them and gone up to teller and had excellent service. I see that mostly the reviews on here are about the service here and why they don't have more bank tellers but unfortunately we as customers can't change that. I've listed this in the tip section of this page but I'll state it again on here and that's to come after the peak hour. I know not a lot of people probably don't have the convenience to do that (due to their minimal business hours) but hey if it gets you to beat the long lines then why not?

I was today, Friday at 3 PM trying to deposit some money to my account and the teller was telling me that she has to do a report for the amount that I'm depositing when I ask, can you tell me the amount she get it wrong and she started to treat me as I'm doing something really bad that is when I told her let me know how much is the limit so I can come next time with the right amount and she say she cannot disclose which is something that I think that she had to disclose to the customers looks like these people don't want to work as a tellers and they think that they doing a job for free. We are a customers and we need to ask questions if they don't like they should be at home starting from the manager what you expect if the manager doesn't have the skills to treat customer the right way anyways this branch is gonna close anytime soon. I hope there is another way to make a deposit without look at these people faces totally disappointed. Bank Of America is not anymore like it was two years ago. by the way, the teller that was taking my transaction it was a Asian and looks like the manager with us with the glasses as Hispanic so disappointed the manager doesn't even have a batch or uniform looks like she was working on a restaurant somewhere else, but not on a bank.

Even learning the story of the history of the bank and how it is truly local, pride and affection for a bank seemed odd. Having a financial crisis from my own mistake that would severely harm my family, I called several people in the Call Center to get unusually kind, supportive, empathetic staff 99% of the time. My meltdown was complete by the time I talked to Jury, the Manager of the San Pablo Dam Road branch. Sobbing and hysterical I kept thinking, "Businesses hate drama. He's going to hang up on me." Instead he problem-solved for me, reconfigured usual practice, showed profound empathy and compassion and saved the day plus what remains of my sanity. He saved my tiny dynasty, completely solved my problem, and left me feeling as important to Mechanics Bank as a billionaire with my paltry income. The bank service faltered for a year or so when it joined a Texas bank and lost the fabled founder, but my experience is that it's even better than before.
