She explains things so well and makes the process painless. She gets everything done quickly and efficiently without feeling rushed. I work 9-5 and am not able to go into the office so we emailed and spoke over the phone for the whole process. PLUS 0% financing for 12 months! And 2% cash back on every purchase. Well, that was an offer I couldn't refuse. I signed up for the credit card. I spent the $500. I got 200 bucks! The next offer to show up was $400 cash back if you open a checking account and have direct deposits that total over $1000 in the first three months. PLUS $0 cost for the checking account if you direct deposit more than $500 per month. Another offer I couldn't refuse. My old bank used to have a branch right around the corner from my house. They closed it. Now I have to drive several miles to go to the next closest location. Wells Fargo has a bank 1.5 miles away from my house, so switching makes sense. Now there is a little bit of a pain and bother of switching direct deposits and all that other kind of stuff but Marilyn at Wells Fargo made it all easy. $400 is a nice incentive, too!

I've been trying to get her to make deposits on her cell phone, which is what I do when I get that rare physical check. But she is old school and won't let me set that up for her. It is so easy to bank with the Fifth Third app that the only time I need to go to the bank is if I need cash; and I usually do that at the ATM!

I am forced to drop two stars, one for each "breach notice" that I have received as a bank member…read more The first one, hackers got used check faces. That's my address, routing, account number, and signature. That's pretty bad! I did not consider dropping the bank at that time, but yesterday I received another "breach notice" and the hackers now have my DOB, SSN, Name and phone number. I work very hard at keeping my personal data out of the hands of people who would victimize me online, and my bank has just given it away for free. Please fully expect a reply to this review that 1) The bank cares so deeply about me and my data, 2) The bank offered me a complimentary credit-watching service that I would never have needed had they protected their servers. I am a computer programmer, and I suspect that the IT wing of this bank is reactive and not proactive. So I will open another account somewhere else. I simply can't afford this bank. Probably there is a guy in a high-rise saying that he did everything he could to prevent the breach, and he didn't. He's not qualified. He has the job because of his uncle, or grandpa or whatever.
