I finally was able to qualify for a Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card, so I did the whole shabigalo online. When the card came in the mail, I activated it with no trouble, but was unable to see my account via the Chase website or their app that I put on my phone and registered for. After about a week of trying to troubleshoot on my own, I gave up and headed to this Chase for some Custer support. Ashton was the gentleman who helped me out when I arrived. Friendly personality, and was good at checking all possible avenues before calling into Chase for more support. He called into their home office's credit card dept, and after 10 minutes speaking with them, they were able to get everything fixed and squared away so I was able to get on the app. While I do not do my personal banking at Chase, that experience was smooth and hassle-free (on my end). Five stars for a bank - who would have guessed it?!?! You're also probably wondering why there is a picture of OYO Rye Whiskey attached to this post..... normally I need a good stiff drink to enter a bank, please check out my review of the Huntington bank on hill road in Pickerington to find out why! We ended up coming to chase since the boys are both over 13 and can have their own checking account. Oddly enough you can't set this up online like we could for USAA but here we are. I booked an appointment with Eric for 2:30 and we started right on time! He was super helpful and walked through all of our options and talked through everything we needed to have a successful startup. Eric answered all of our questions and even had some suggestions about what we should do in the future as the boys grow. I've never really felt taken care of at a bank but this trip has definitely changed my mind about visiting local branches. Great job Chase! read more

Opened a new account for a direct deposit for a 17 year old. Chase closed the account before the first deposit could even hit for no activity in 30 days. The account was JUST 30 days old. Tried to open a new one but can't get anyone to answer the phone. Went in the branch, was advised someone would call me, they were too busy to help. Still, nobody's called. My deposit comes 3 days later than with my previous bank. Not happy with this change. Going back to my previous old bank. read more

I took my two youngest sons in to open an account with Chase, now that they're both gainfully employed and no longer have "live off the system (which is my house and income - or the lack thereof)". They were both excited to set one up, even though neither has any experience in banking. We had conducted extensive searches and learned that Chase is currently holding a promotion with incentives for opening a new personal checking &/or savings account. We decided to visit on the way to taking my son to work, but saw that the associates were busy with other customers. Still, one of the gentlemen came out to handle some paperwork, but stopped to inquire about the nature of our visit. I thought that was very kind of him, especially since he told us how long we could expect our wait to be and how long it would take to set them up. We didn't have enough time to wait and told him we'd come back the next day. He then offered to set up an appointment, which we did. Upon our return, he (Thomas Clingan) greeted us with a smile and enjoyed conversations about my sons' jobs, high school experiences and career paths as he set up their accounts. He did such an awesome job, walking them through having a bank account, making it easy for them to understand. He set us up in no time and even provided temporary debit cards since they ordered custom designs. People like Thomas are the reason that you actually like walking IN to a bank and I wish there were more like him in all walks of business. The most freeing experience that I have encountered as an adult was yesterday when I closed my account with chase for good and took my money to a new bank. After dealing with months and months of fraudulent charges and horrible customer service that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, I had thought I'd seen Chase at their lowest. I was very incorrect and mistaken. In the last two weeks of trying to get in touch with a person who could help me find my money in help make sense of how a bank could be this irresponsible with a person security I have visited over 15 branches, spoke with over 30 customer service representatives over the phone and spent over 200 minutes of my life on hold. In some scenarios I was even hung up on by the customer service representatives because they simply couldn't help me or just didn't feel like it. I can tell you this, if customer service means anything to you this bank will only let you down. I will never in my life ever do any business with Chase Bank or its associates. I would rather watch my mother die of cancer than ever have another penny in the bank of JP Morgan Chase bank. read more

Chase bank on Hill Road Pickerington has the rudest phone people I have ever spoken with. Gave account number 3 times, verified all information requested and still unable to get an answer about a cashier's check issues. "I don't see that the money has posted to your account" . Duh, I issued the cashier's check not deposited one. read more
