You can bank inside, in the privacy of a closet, or just push a button and you can do things yourself or request a live body and one of the employees faces pops up on the screen to help you. Unreal! It's very easy. Even I, Ms. Untechy, can do it. Sometimes I even surprise myself. If you need to ask for a loan, have a credit card issue or whatever, there are 1 or 2 friendly people at the front desk that are happy to assist you or refer you to an employee who can help you. If you have to wait, you are offered coffee & tea to enjoy while you wait, Everyone at Kemba is very friendly and interested in assisting you. No one yells at you or tries to intimidate you and they don't make you wait for several hours as they bypass you and help other customers. I dealt with this at a nearby bank and will never deal with them again. They lie and don't come through with promises of help. They say they will do something and they don't. One of the banks own employees referred to their bank as toxic and I would strongly agree with them. The name of that bank is Huntington Bank on Hill Road. The young lady that manages that bank is a joke! I've never been treated poorly at Kemba. Everyone is always ready to assist me whether I call or come inside the bank. Kemba also pays higher interest. Go Kemba!

I've decided to close my account and move everything over to Kemba, as credit unions have better…read morerates for loans and interest. Also, I felt there's less up-selling here than my regular for-profit bank. This building was built brand new for Kemba, and everything is still new and clean inside. I like the seating area up front (you're not pushed to a cubby hole area off to the side). They have a nice coffee station (currently closed due to Covid). I really like having the ability for customers to video conference with a customer service agent in real time via a simple click on their indoor ATMs (this is also available at the drive-thru ATM). I spoke with Melissa while transferring my funds, and her helpful knowledge and explanations were fantastic. The good customer service I've receive here is much better than my previous bank.

I finally was able to qualify for a Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card, so I did the whole…read moreshabigalo online. When the card came in the mail, I activated it with no trouble, but was unable to see my account via the Chase website or their app that I put on my phone and registered for. After about a week of trying to troubleshoot on my own, I gave up and headed to this Chase for some Custer support. Ashton was the gentleman who helped me out when I arrived. Friendly personality, and was good at checking all possible avenues before calling into Chase for more support. He called into their home office's credit card dept, and after 10 minutes speaking with them, they were able to get everything fixed and squared away so I was able to get on the app. While I do not do my personal banking at Chase, that experience was smooth and hassle-free (on my end). Obviously this bank has been my go-to for any face to face interactions since.

We ended up coming to chase since the boys are both over 13 and can have their own checking account. Oddly enough you can't set this up online like we could for USAA but here we are. I booked an appointment with Eric for 2:30 and we started right on time! He was super helpful and walked through all of our options and talked through everything we needed to have a successful startup. Eric answered all of our questions and even had some suggestions about what we should do in the future as the boys grow. I've never really felt taken care of at a bank but this trip has definitely changed my mind about visiting local branches. Great job Chase!
