I called for help and to pay three payments in one to get my car out. A very rude rep (Ava) told me "no sorry you have to pay off the whole car to get it back. I explained my situation she said "well you didn't pay that's how it works here" in all my years of living I've never witnessed such horrible customer service at a bank ! Maybe at a Jamaican restaurant but not at a bank! I asked for a manager and was told there was no one else to speak to lol. Originally was a customer for over 33 years before a few things happened which forced me to lose an account with them. Their holiday and vacation accounts are pretty good. They do not have a monthly minimum that you have to have in the account. Savings accounts I believe are a $500 minimum. What is good about this bank is that they do no charge a monthly fee.

Since moving to the area recently and being a customer of Provident Bank already, found that it was easier this way to open my bank account. Today, all that was needed was my drivers license by Maria this morning. After a few clicks on her computer lasting about 15 or so minutes I was good to go. All it took was my electronic signature and out the door. As mentioned before they have a pretty friendly staff. As the tellers said when leaving, thanks to staying with us after all these years. This is a pretty small branch building. That has one ATM lane and two drive through lanes on the side. Easy and painless banking.

I called several months ago with this problem and the woman on the phone was nice enough, but couldn't give me any real answer beyond "we're working on 'fixing' it". It seems pretty obvious that they don't want to accept AMEX, but who knows. I wish they would fix their website and just be honest about the fact that they don't accept AMEX. I'm writing this review in the hopes they fix this problem OR update their website to be honest and admit that they don't accept AMEX. I will update my review if one of those actions are taken.

Even when there's about 20 ppl on the line all cashing their checks, the line moves pretty quick. One of my fav things here though is their coin machine "Penny Arcade". You bring in all your loose pocket change and all the coins inside your sofa cushions, drop it into Penny Arcade, and you walk out with some decent money. I just turned a small pile of coins into a dinner for two at Houlihans! Can't beat that!

With Chase, I was told that I had to go into the branch with the certificate as well as 2 forms of ID. When at this branch, I met with a rude banker. He kept asking me who owned the account. I said my wife and I. He kept asking as if I were under interrogation. Then, I asked if my wife joined us would that solve the issue. So, I got her to come in. Again, he was asking who owned the company. My wife and I said the both of us do 50/50. Then, he said that he needed documented proof of ownership. Why didn't he say this before I dragged my wife to the branch. He wasted our time. He was rude and, frankly, not too smart. Stay away from this branch and Chase altogether.

Chase has my mortgage and my main credit card which is a Disney Visa…read more About a month back, I went to this branch because I was not using the rewards and wanted to get a credit card that would have rewards that better fit my lifestyle. The rep sold me on a Chase Freedom Unlimited card. He went on to say that that if I allowed more charges to go thru on the Chase Disney Visa, I could call their 800 number and request a one time transfer of the reward dollars to the Chase Disney credit card as a statement credit and then close the account. IT WAS A LIE!! They have refused to honor that transfer. I have made over a dozen calls and no one is willing to give me an accommodation to honor the things said in the original meeting. I believe this to be FRAUD. If I cant trust things told to me by one of their reps, how can I continue to do business with them? I have spoken to reps and their escalation team as well. On the last call, I was told the branch manager would contact me within 48 hours with a resolution. We are beyond that time frame--- and no call or resolution. This has been nothing but aggravation. For reference, the rewards balance is $360. Yes--- that small amount! On average, between the mortgage and the credit cards, they make close to $1000 per month on my accounts in interest. Seems like a bad decision made by someone who is not looking at the big picture but that's their call to make. I just wanted to put that out there in case anyone was considering opening an account with them. Note: things you are told are not necessarily going to be true so don't make decisions based on what they tell you. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED. I will give them a few more weeks to fix this before I begin shopping around for a new credit card and then eventually do the same with my mortgage. They have destroyed a 22 year relationship we have had all in the interest of saving $360. Enjoy the money, Chase. The clock is ticking on us doing business. Adding this addendum: Chase refused to make good on their word to me. The credit cards are being cancelled accordingly.
