Took my son to open an account today. Walked in the bank and no customers .I counted 6 employees sitting at two tables. Three at each tables talking and laughing with each other. The girl with the tablet told me I was next on the list, but would take 30 minutes to get to me. What??!!! There is literally nobody here and they are just sitting there laughing with each other. I took my high school son in to open an account yesterday prior to me deploying on military orders in a few days. My experience with Michael B. was horrible. I'm a prior banker of chase and another financial institution. I have several products and services with chase and all of my children have checking and savings accounts at chase. I also am very financially responsible and I say this to elaborate on my experience with him. When I told my son to write down his username for his mobile app , Michael argued with me saying they don't suggest you write down your username. I had to tell him I want my son to write it down . As I was telling my son to never write down his pw , because that gives people access to your online banking and money , Michael once again interrupts and says well technically that can't happen , I told him yes it can he then proceeds to argue with me again. My last straw was when I asked for him to print out a direct deposit form and he seemed as though he didn't want to do it because he said he can just get it on his mobile app. I can't recall what else he said but it made me look at him and tell him that I don't appreciate him interrupting me as I'm parenting my son and teaching him financial literacy. I told Michael he was overstepping his boundaries as a banker and me being a mother to my son . Michael responded and said I don't think so . This was an extremely unprofessional response . Due to the fact I needed my sons account opened before my deployment I stayed and continued with getting the account set up other than that I would have walked out on him. read more

The customer is good, but misdirections you need an appt to talk to someone. But most of us who work the banking hours and can't make it before it closes, it becomes a downgrade. I was just looking up phone # to make an appointment to open a new account for my grandchildren when I ran across reviews. I was astounded at all the negative reviews, so I decided to offset just a bit with my experience at this bank. My experience has always been more than pleasant. Everyone is always professional, & courteous. I have even had a gentleman call me to advise me he was my personal banker & if I needed anything I could call him. On one of my visits I observed a woman cursing the greeter out because she was advised she would need to wear a mask to come in. Makes me wonder if people are just not so nice to begin with, & going to an establishment with a confrontational attitude is the norm lately. I opened a new account with Chase, they have six ATMs, but after the bank closes, you can't use debit card, to unlock doors, and use ATMs at all. I thought It was 24 hours ATM. And the drive thru has two, but only one works, line gets so long, not even worth it. So from having six ATMs, there's only one at drive thru. read more

No wonder this place has two stars. Lets start off by saying on Friday July 16th between 2-3 pm on payday this branch had zero available bankers. This was only made worst by the front door attendant that took my info and told me there was nothing that could be done to help me and I had to contact my employer. I got on the phone again and within minutes was told the attendant did not obtain the correct info. Take your money else where. Somewhere that has available bankers on pay day to start. Customer service has really taken a dump at chase and it reflects in this locations review. Building needs more capable staff. Bank of America here we come. I like using the drive up teller and I was really glad they had one at this branch (newly opened). The past two times I've tried to use the drive up teller the light has been "green" (meaning open) yet I've waited and waited, pushed the call button several times and no one comes. So today (like the other day) I ended up going inside. The "business teller" was free so she motioned me over - I think her name was Jennifer. I said "ya know if the drive up teller isn't open you should turn off the light" - I mean that makes sense right? It was an innocent comment made in a very neutral tome. Instead of apologizing or turning the green light to red she says "Well we were busy helping customers". What?! So according to this teller -- if I'm at the drive up teller window I'm NOT A CUSTOMER? And then she hands me a slip of paper stating that I would no longer be allowed to deposit cash into an account unless my name is on the account. I have only EVER deposited cash into my accounts. I asked "so I can't deposit cash into my joint account any longer?" (meaning my joint account with my husband). Her answer: "only if your name is on it". Again, very unfriendly tone, condescending. She didn't bother checking my ID to see if I was on the account - she just ASSUMED that I wasn't the one on the account. Both remarks by this woman were snotty and snide. This teller is rude in my opinion. This branch has one more shot in my opinion. If they fail the next time I go there I will pull all of my money out and take it to Wells Fargo. Too bad... I thought I could run in real quick to wire money. I am writing this in real time and it is 3:26 and I have been waiting since 1:27. The tellers were not busy at all. But there was no one in Customer Services. There was an agent that was working with two young women for the entire time. I was told that an agent was at lunch. There were 6 people waiting. Seemingly, out of pity, one teller asked us what we were there for. After everyone reported their reasons he just said one minute and walked back behind the counter. Another agent finally returned from lunch at 3:20 and met with a couple that made an appointment for 3:00pm. As I write this, it is 3:28 and I still have not been seen. It is unsatisfactory to wait this long for service while employees just linger around like I have all the time in the world. It's unsatisfactory to have only one agent to provide Customer Service and no one else to attend to customers while she's at lunch. Once the agent returned from lunch she had no since of urgency. I have been banking with chase for over a decade I've been to many branches. This branch has some good perks the employees are nice. The ATM machines are what are giving it a one star. Multiple times over the last 60 days the atms work only up to the point of cash withdrawal from checking. At that point the ATM machines have given error codes. I don't think they are serviced at all because they are very very dirty. During COVID-19 being clean is a basic requirement of any essential business. No other chase branches I've been to are as dirty. I won't be going back. I let a employee know and he was really kind about the errors. Alas they still happen. That's not good for anyone the bank or it's customers. I might switch, just based off this branch I'm seeing changes with the Chase banking brand changing. Little over a week after opening an account there , they deposited my bf check into someone else's account! We noticed money missing so we called their customer service only to have the guy helping us make it sound like we are lying!! We then go to the actual bank and speak to the manager who actually told us that the check was deposited into someone elses account! That's not the worst part, the person whos account they deposited the money into notified them, they didn't know whos money it was, AND IT WAS A CHECK!!! In other words, if we had not noticed , the money would have just been gone! I thought Wells Fargo was bad, coming to this bank has been the worse experience. I didn't receive any money for a promotion they had for new customers and they suspended an later on closed my account with out my knowledge. Getting my card declined at the dentist while paying for my deductible is embarrassing but not nearly as frustrating as having your account closed the day before pay day. Customer service at this bank is ridiculous. Employees standing around yet they don't have enough employees. The customer service rep that was assisting us put us on the phone to handle the matter we where there for. "let me know if you need me and I will come back because we need to assist other customers." Once we need her we are told that she will be with us after she's done with the other customer. Wtf we where here first and now I have to wait. I asked for someone else to assist since the bank isn't willing to help us we are taking our business elsewhere. So I came here to close an account. Not the greatest visit. As I waited to be seen I could hear everything the associates where discussing with other customers. No privacy in the little cubicles they have. One of the women excused her self from a customer to say hi to her friend and friends kids. Very unprofessional. My visit there was to close an account to a family member who had passed away. Upon finally having that chance the associate that was helping me began asking if my relative had lots of money and who it was left to if the family member did. I could not wait to get out of this bank! I don't have an account at Chase and after this visit would never think about it!!!
