Unfortunately, the process is so difficult with having to redo direct deposit, PayPal, autopay, etc. they recently sold many local branches and rather than having a branch like 3 minutes from my house, it's closer to 20. And then I still have to drive home. On top of that, the line remaining branch in the area is short staffed for all the additional customers that need to use the tellers. Two tellers with plenty of other people just walking around the bank without seemingly anything to occupy their time. And here's a great bonus. I get to the bank and the ATM isn't working. All I wanted to do was deposit a check and take out some cash. So with the drive to and from as well as waiting in a long line (it seemed like it was 1932) what would have been a 10-15 minute errand when I had a local branch became a one hour errand. Pitiful company I can't wait to take my money out of this crap hole.

The customer service greeting by the young lady at the teller window coupled by the manager she called for assistance, which I will mention was not displaying a name tag purposely I'm sure, was far less than enthusiastic for a place dealing with people's day to day and long-term financial procurements and trust. It was as if it was punishing to great warmly and obvious why. Ultimately the transaction was complete however noticeably others of another "persuasion" were far more welcoming and carried out with far greater swiss movement. Being that this is a customer service, a charged one at that, ALL CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE TREATED THE SAME AS WELL AS NAME TAGS VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES SO THOSE OF NON COMPLIANCE CAN BE noted by name. After calling more than dozen times, I was able to reach Elizabeth, who said she'll call me in a few minutes. Five hours later, no call. I called back, whoever answered my call was rude and showed complete lack of respect, understanding and empathy, she was not interested in helping me. She put me on hold. I am still on hold.

Inside is very dull, dark and dry, there is no vitality or livelihood in this place. That was my first observation. The second, was the lack of people to help. I listened to a female who had a bun on the top of her head complain about being there, "30 years" and they have her "sitting directly under the skylight and the heat is directly on her back." The rep Fatoumata made complaints to me face to face, "They don't allow our names to be on the table, no pictures of family or children. They want us to keep the area clear." It became apparent their lack of professionalism and job morale is connected with their customer service. I couldn't get into my account by mobile or online, I had to remind her of the debit card, she talked more when she mentioned where in Africa she is from. That's when she chatted the most and smiled! I told he r if I continue to have no access to my account I will close the account. I have never seen anything which I was experiencing while in that "Bank." Sure enough, Saturday morning I called Fatoumata and let her know I am still experiencing no access. She literally told me, "Make a complaint against the bank and get back to her before 1PM." I was shocked, how insubordinate. When I remarked how she should fix the problem, she went on THE WORST CHATTING-FEST I ever heard. I hung up LOL. I went there to close the account and encountered further incompetence and pathetic treatment. I had to call the Police to have them close the account. The woman with the bun wanted to gossip with me about what the Rep said and did to me and as I told her the conversation yesterday and that morning by phone she jumps up and makes a intentional false claim of "me being a racist." She then rolled herself over to the tellers to spread the same lie. Stood by the teller removing herself from the 2 customers who were waiting in her cubicle to further assist just to harass and provoke me. They know who I am from that moment on. One teller had her friend customer (male) approach me and try to verbally threaten me. He also found out who I was and started walking!!! The Attorney General will be notified not only of their false financial advisement to prospective customers but also their mishandling of matters requested by customers. P.S I'm Black, 1-2 my family is from the Continent of Africa, so where is the "Racism"? It was an attempt to cause blame to cover their incompetence. Every other bank is open and practicing social distancing in the bank. TD Bank is not. Without an appointment, you can only do business in the drive-up line which is inadequately staffed. Additionally, their ATMs are among the worst I've ever used and always give me a problem. As soon as this pandemic is over I'll be finding another branch.
