He said he could beat any other bank and was going to get me the best deal; he came back with 5.75% when I already had 3.77% secured with lendingtree.com. I figured they just didn't have the chops to do loans. Then the bank was renamed (I think it is First National Bank now), things started to change. Almost immediately, they started to charge a monthly fee. We had both of our paychecks going to this bank and regularly had a balance of over $5000 with them. But, because it dips down at the end of the month, they charge us a fee. I called to try to get this waived, but they refused. You know what? There are plenty of hungry banks out there looking for new customers. After 18 years with them, I am leaving and they don't care. I suggest you avoid this bank as they don't care about their customers. Their slogan is "You first"? - nah - it should be "We're in this for your money".
