    Worst branch I've ever encountered. ATMs are often down and the drive thru sometimes is closed. Very inconvenient.

My experience with Cal Coast Credit Union has been nothing short of exhausting, frustrating, and disappointing -- especially when it comes to how they've handled a serious case of fraud on my account. Back in early June, a scammer linked their own PayPal and Cash App accounts to my Cal Coast account and stole money without my full understanding or permission. I filed a fraud dispute immediately -- but instead of helping me, Cal Coast denied the dispute, saying I "authorized" the charges just because a code was involved. And it was "directly from the phone"That's not how fraud works first off ok cal coast. What's worse is they admitted it was fraud, but said they don't owe me anything because it would be "their loss." Since when is that an excuse to leave your customer with stolen money, a damaged credit score, and no support? They told me to go chase down the companies myself, contacting PayPal and Cash App -- even though I don't even use those services and never had an account with the scammer's name on it. I was forced to do all the legwork alone, while Cal Coast refused to escalate, investigate properly, or even communicate clearly. They made me wait weeks only to be told "we can't help." Now, because of those fraud charges, my credit score dropped over 60 points, and Cal Coast still refuses to put the charges on hold or work with me to afford the balance. They've left me with debt I didn't create, no accountability, and no protection -- despite the fact that this situation clearly falls under Regulation E, which they are supposed to follow as a financial institution. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and action is shocking. I'm a young adult trying to build credit and stay afloat, and this bank has done nothing but hurt me. I've now had to start contacting legal aid and consumer protection agencies just to try and clean up the damage they allowed to happen -- and they still act like it's not their problem. Avoid this credit union at all costs. If you ever have to deal with fraud, don't expect Cal Coast to protect you. They will leave you hanging, ignore consumer rights, and then push all responsibility onto you. Absolutely disgraceful.

I saw few employees running late after 9 o clock. If they think it is secure, is there any door for employees? Any reasons can be indicated that is bank policy. Who knows this policy and show the policy to public??Their policies r caused loosing customers. time by time, Wellsfargo will be . Not only me, another lady was also there under wind, cold outside. I remember 30 years ago Wells would give you $5 in your account if you had to wait more than 5 minutes. This branch would be out of business if that was still a thing....If you have to go inside this branch, make sure you bring a lunch.
