Sad to say, this is turning out to be a mistake. We have had this loan for 3 months. Their online platform is abysmal. The user-interface and UX is outdated, very dysfunctional, and has so many weird loopholes that make it (coming from a broad who's generally unflappable and tech-savvy) the most unnecessarily and avoidable FRUSTRATING thing when you're just trying to GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Ha! Wild. Even connecting an external account (my personal bank account) to pay them was loaded with friction. Anyway... we've had to spend hours communicating with them and sending emails after they insisted (their mistake) that we didn't have insurance on file. Hubby called, sent in all the docs, did this AGAIN when they sent notices that our proof was insufficient (mind you... their mistake), and they added 6K to our loan for their own coverage. He had to escalate and argue with a woman, clearly very elderly, to have her just LOOK at the dates correctly on the paperwork we sent in (that they actually already had from the purchase at the dealer). LOL! Like... it was there the whole time. *dyingggggg* Meanwhile, our regular payment is due. Issue is.... I can't pay it... because it would only allow us to pay a specific amount that it pre-determined. Making a payment in whatever amount you desire is not an option. They wanted me to pay $1000 instead of my $700 payment because they'd tacked on their 6k addition. Yeah. No. Late fees also have to be paid SEPARATELY.... over the phone. And because we waited for them to correct the 6k issue, I got a late fee that I now can't pay unless I call them and go through their crappy IVR (automated system). Maybe Retired Rhonda (no offense to the Rhonda's out there!) has no issue spending 12 minutes paying her car payment over the phone every month.... but I'm not Rhonda. I Rockin'-and-Rollin Rose, gotta whole life going on and LOTS of line items on the bill sheet that also need attention. Ain't nobody got the time (except maybe Rhonda). Cherry on top was me learning this via a chat rep by the name of Shalonda moments ago. When I say there was no customer service, I mean.... it felt like AI but with NONE of the acknowledgement, emotive language, validation, apology, or assurance. Kinda creepy honestly. Like.... who's training these folks? I am not at ALL surprised by this after last month's experiences, but I think it IS time that I make sure other people are saved from this business and their sad state of online offerings and poor service (esp since this lack of UX signifies a lack of cyber-security in their platform). It's 2025, FourLeaf. Get it together.

    *** Just looking at some of the other reviews: two 5* reviews are fake, since Fourleaf FCU does not…read moredo business outside of the Long Island area. This used to be a good credit union. But I can no longer give them a good review. They recently changed their mortgage provider and it is impossible to work with; you can't reach a human being on the phone. Their new mortgage web page has no useful information and doesn't show the payments you made, For their regular web site, you can't download your scheduled bill payments. Their savings rates are an embarrassment. When I use the chat, all I get is "Sorry for the inconvenience". Moving to another credit union now.
