I've never felt so discriminated against whilst banking at a Chase branch. I've been banking on and off with Chase for over 11 years and this has to have been one of the worst branches to deal with. Irina, the branch manager is extremely rude over the phone, she had such an attitude when I spoke with her, regarding a transaction and hung up on me! Prior to the phone call, I went in to withdrawal. Th transaction delayed after being asked a million questions. What are you doing with this money? (It's my money??) Not yours? I feel unsafe that you are leaving here with that much? What are you investing in. What do you do..question after question after question. Until I finally was authorized to take my money out of the institutionalized prison that holds my money! Never coming back- no thank-you. Super bummed out by our experience with this bank. Cashed a check from a Chase member (a family member of ours who wrote the check) and was charged a fee to cash it!! We called 24 hours ahead to let them know we would be there the next day so that they could have funds available, which is what they ask you to do. They were rude about us cashing the check which was very strange. I have no clue why. Super weird experience. read more

Branch manager Marie needs an attitude adjustment. Couldn't do something that a manager at another location could and swung her hip like she's special. Would rather I close my account. Incompetent and inefficient!!! Update: another Chase branch was able to do the impossible miss Marie couldn't do. She should lose her job. Two stars is for friendly tellers. This Chase is your standard location. It is clean, lots of parking. HOWEVER- they have some serious staffing issues. I've been here a handful of times at different times of day and there is always a line because there are only ever 1-2 tellers. I went back to Chase Bank In rancho Cordova CA today. For the 5th time. Only to be told that no bankers work on Saturday. Not surprised. So on Monday I'm going to go to the Chase Bank In El dorado CA. I've dealt with them before and their very helpful and nice. I should have gone there in the first place. Just a bit further. I was talking to the gal at the grocery store, explaining my situation. She said she went to Chase Bank one time to open an account and they said, you have to make an appointment. It was her only day off. She said there was about 4 bankers there doing nothing. Chatting with each other and laughing. She said they don't answer the phone so how do you make an appointment. Need to access to my safe deposit box this afternoon. Came in/ rang the bell and was told from far away that the customer is not supposed to ring the bell to call for safe deposit access (I have been told that the customer needs to ring the bell to alert the staff and I have been doing it for a long time). The banker had zero customer service skill and told me that she did not have to come and greet the customer after I asked her as why that she was using her hand to ask me to come to her from across the bank. Unprofessional/ disrespectful towards customer and did not seem to care. The other banker came to help me after being asked. She was polite and professional as it should be. read more

This ATM is terrible. After two tries and a broken touchscreen I have been charged six dollars for my ATM withdrawal and I only managed to get $20 out each time, even though I wanted 100. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to B of A. read more

Very friendly and welcoming staff. I've been banking at this location for three years and have never had a bad experience. They've taken great care of me and continuously gone beyond my expectations. Although I don't personally do business with each of the employees, I've developed positive relationships with all of them. The employees either wave each time I come or walk up to have a conversation. I accompany my friends to other banks and those bank associates are always trying to up-sell them or starring uncomfortably at their account information. The employees at this Chase have never made me uncomfortable, annoyingly tried to up-sell me, or appeared to delve into my personal account information. This review isn't meant to be an overall review of Chase or their corporate decision, but for this particular location. Other reviews appear to reduce the rating because of a corporate decision that I presume this branch must follow. I don't believe its this branch's fault. I set up a new checking account with her and was so pleased I brought the family in and both my sons set up new savings accounts too. I went in today with a range of issues with my accounts, and a relationship banker officer resolved all of them with me in an efficient and professional manner. Though I attempted to do some homework on the basics of finance prior to coming in, I walked into the bank with a poor understanding of how credit works, incorrect information on the importance (and unimportance) of different types of accounts, and an unclear idea of what I needed. I walked out feeling like I could explain how to manage bank accounts to nearly anyone. Alex Fastovich guided me through my issues, and together we selected the options that would work best for me. I ended up consolidating some accounts, opening a new one, and changing my setups for payment, routing, and savings. Alex also took care of some minor things for me, like ordering a replacement card and making a deposit. He answered all of my questions quickly and succinctly, while filling me in on extra gaps in my understanding. Even though we had to go through a number of forms and paperwork, all of this happened within half an hour of entering the bank. I had a fantastic experience, and I'd recommend Alex to anyone. What a horrible experience. I'm so glad I don't bank with them and I'm happy to discourage others from banking with them. I went to deposit money to my sisters acct and they don't accept cash!!!! WOW. You're a bank and you don't want my money? What's worse is that I wanted her to get it immediately so I happily paid the withdraw fee at their ATM for using their machine (since I don't bank there) just to find out I couldn't deposit. What a waste of my time. In addition, nobody greeted me, and for the corporate office - please note they did not ask if I wanted to bank with them or who I banked with. I would've refused regardless. Zero stars for customer service... Stopped in to deposit cash into a family members account. Something I've done before. Often. They don't accept cash, unless you have an account with them... I was just trying to be helpful. We're talking $50... Not thousands... No... I've never preferred this bank. They charge for EVERYTHING, customers wait too long and now no cash. Worst customer service ever. I'm a member of this bank for 17 years. Ask the teller to make a copy of depositing checks, she said "no". She said "it's a new policy not allowed us to do it. I thought maybe it's new teller, so I wait and talk to a manager "Maria" she look at me and said " you don't a phone" I said yes I have a phone , then she ask " do you have a business account?" JPMorgan Chase & Co. Chase Banking Well, a long line for no customer service I found. My issue the same as thousands, perhaps millions; (i only read a few pages of complaints) just do a search on internet. Horrible customer service, is just the start. I see there is one way to resolve this. Leave Chase bank. As a consumer/customer etc; my only thought is WHY do we, as such, continue to use this type of service. We are buying frustration. It is ridiculous. And it has made me feel stupid. We, as consumers/customers have a choice as to who we allow to use our money when we deposit. A suggestion, review how much JP Morgan/Chase is worth. Remember they are only as valuable as what we the consumer/customer allow. Its your choice. I've made mine. Just opened an account with Chase and decided to go to this location, they were very friendly and it was a very short wait. There was about 3 people in front of us, and only one teller was open so one of the consultants decided to help the next guest to get the line down. It just so happens that she helped us open our account, Ashley was very helpful and helped us open our account with Chase, will definitely be coming back here! read more

Worst Chase branch. Chase itself already scores pretty low on my bank list. I have been to this branch half a dozen times in the past 2 years there's always a different lone teller there overworked and cranky during the lunch rush or an hour before closing. There are always several other bank workers sitting around doing nothing despite the long line. The management and workers at this branch need to be retrained or let go. read more

I am a member of this bank and I have a personal account and a business account with them. To deposit a T-check they have to make a call to verify it. Today I came in and they told me I'm supposed to be the one to call.. The manager came and her excuse was that when they call their phone lines get slow.. WHAT?? First of all that's not my problem, second of all I was at this same branch of the bank yesterday and a girl at one of the windows helped me with no problem, she should be the manager. Yesterday I went to the Gold River branch with very low expectations that I would have my problem solved. You see Chase had me switch from my credit card to an "upgraded" version. I did this based on information given to me on the telephone by a Chase employee. In my repeated attempts with Chase on the phone to return back to my original credit card I was denied. The run around was so very frustrating. It was suggested I go to a Chase branch and speak to someone. I met with Marie Stratford and explained my dilemma. Marie was amazing! She was on the phone with Chase explaining my situation and request. They kept telling her no, I could not go back to my original credit card. She was so professional, kind, and relentless! She was finally successful in convincing Chase that they had issued me the new card based on erroneous information and they agreed to issue me the original credit card. Stay away from banking with Chase. It was 100% wrong when they played Big Brother with my bank account as I was in Playa del Carmen Mexico and they oddly started limiting my daily use to $100. I'm a freaking adult that is past their 30's. Before heading to Mexico I cleared with then that I'll be out of town. They said, yes thank you for telling us. When I was leaving Mexico, i was unable to take any money out to pay for a bus ticket to the airport, and i exceeded my NEW $100 withdrawal limit they mysteriously added to my account. I had to talk a taxi driver I to allowing me to FILL his gas up using my credit card in order to drop me off at the airport. When home I contacted Chase Bank and they informed me that they felt my card was compromised and are now sending me out a new card. WoW I never got a phone call, email or any heads up regarding them closing out my previous card and limiting it to a minimum amount of cash. I asked for the person that made the executive decision to Big Brother my account and they could only apologize and that was all they could do for me.
