False advertisement "Welcome to a Better Banking Experience." I just had to file complaints with the OCC and CFPB. You can't make stupid up. My fiancé and I opened a household acct. since we are long established Chase credit card customers. We deposited a security deposit refund from our landlord. Because the landlord wrote the check from her Wells Fargo business account, we were told we cannot access the funds paid to Chase on 1/12/26. Chase first said the check bounced which it was paid. Then Chase claimed the public record of the business does not have a valid phone number to verify the business. But the landlord's bank validates her business and so does her LLC in Florida. Chase refused to call her or review our lease agreement reflecting the refund of the security deposit. Chase locked our account because the check caused our account to be restricted. Chase would not call Wells Fargo to verify ownership. Instead Chase is keeping almost $4k hostage. I visited the branch to no avail and closed my account. Chase refused to give me the $3k+ balance in the account, minus the $4k they are holding, until they issue a check through the mail. It's been a week and we have not received anything from Chase except an email two days ago telling me my account has a zero balance and to deposit funds immediately. In the meantime, Chase will not release the almost $4k check they owe us. Their solution, have the landlords bank recall the funds, which they cannot do! If you want a horrible banking experience-remember, I warned you and good luck with the misery Chase will cause. In the meantime, we are waiting for banking regulators to rectify this situation expeditiously which could take at least 15 business days for a response. read more

I opened several accounts at this location due to its proximity to where I live. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! The staff is inept to say the least, and that includes the manager. Don't try to call this Chase branch as they never answer their phones. I made at least 15 calls to the personal banker who for the sake of this conversation I will refer to as A.A. She didn't even have the courtesy to return my repeated calls to remedy a problem with my checking account What is of further concern is that they really do not perform in the best interest of their customer. I had a personal experience with several of the branch staff members who told me they could not reverse a misapplied overdraft charge. Called a different branch office in Estero close to Miromar Outlets in Estero and the personal banker at this location simply made a call and within 2 minutes the overdraft charge was reversed and credited to my account. Let's put it this way, If I am going to place trust in my banker, I am going to select a bank and a staff who will go to bat for me. As far as the Chase branch at the corner of Corkscrew and 41 in Estero is concerned, the staff is still sitting in the dugout well after the game is over and everyone has gone home, and that includes the manager. read more

I'm pretty floored I felt the need to even review a bank. The only reason I have two stars is because the tellers seemed to try and help me they just didn't know how. But the apparent manager is literally leaning back and rocking like a kid the entire time he was talking to me. Without being helpful in any way. I've been trying to fix this problem online or by calling so he finally says it's because I have to be on a PC. When I suggested they just help me log on with maybe the computer directly in front of him. He said there is a library in town. The guy seems to spend more time and interest greasing back his hair then helping customers. read more

My first experience in opening an account during all this virus mess could not have been better. A very nice lady helped me get set up with accounts, credit and debit card, checked my veteran status for an upgrade, just excellent. Yesterday I stopped in to deposit checks and break a couple of large bills. Dennis, the teller, needs to be kept in the back until he learns some manners. Rude from the get go. Had it not been for my prior experience I would have closed it all down on the spot. Teach these kids how to interact with the public or find someone who can. read more

I went to this bank today to pay down on the loan for my Chevy equinox. The bank is very nice and immaculate. There were no customers when I entered and went to see the teller. The young lady looked as if she did not want to be there or could care less. No smile, no personality - like a robot. Based on her less then thrilling attitude I don't think so would ever want to bank at this bank as a regular customer. The bank I normally patronize is always friendly and upbeat. I have been banking with Chase for a very long time and this was the worst experience I have had in years. I went in to ask about opening an account for my minor child and the girl Sara that sits right when you first come in was literally so busy on her cell phone she didn't even look up. I went to her little office cubicle and asked her how long the wait would be and she told me one of "her bankers" would help me when they were available. I asked what she was if she was a banker and she told me shes the "branch manager" as if I had no business even trying to approach her. Since when does a branch manager sit and play on a phone when there are people waiting to be helped. The other bankers were all busy. Needless to say I left. I will be going to a different Chase from now on. This isn't the first time I have had to wait a long time but it was the first time that I was treated so rudely. read more

When I walked into the Estero, Corkscrew branch of Chase Bank I was greeted by a very friendly Victor O, branch manager VP, a VERY NICE AND EXTREMELY HELPFUL gentleman. I had a problem, which I had created myself, and he went above and beyond the call of duty to help me solve this problem. I cannot thank him enough for taking care of this. I have banked at this Chase location (Estero) since it opened. Although many personnel changes have occurred, they never miss a beat. Friendly, helpful service and always polite and professional. They are always ready to provide assistance when needed and one always feels special. Unlike other local financial institutions, Chase has brought a new meaning to the word Customer service. read more

Every time we go to this location we always get greeted rudely by the same lady, Randi. She refers us to a different station or another person who already has people waiting in line ahead of us. Then she walks back to her office and sits when she could've helped another guest in the mean time. Because of this my family and I try to avoid going to this Chase branch even though it is closer to our home. Terrible customer service compared to other branches. read more
