In fact, more often than not, their rapport goes a long way in making my shifts more tolerable. Just... Wow. Incredible. Highly recommended for all of your banking needs. They also have good taste in music.

I would just like to start off by stating that I am former employee at this specific branch at Tri…read moreCounties Bank and that Nicole Johnston is one of the worst managers I have ever had the experience of working for. She is selfish and does not care if you have an emergency in the family that you need to get to, she still expects you to come to work and she has zero remorse. I had some family issues going on and one of my family members is very suicidal. I relayed this information to Nicole Johnston while I was on my way to the emergency room 3 hours away because my family member tried to take his life that morning. She then texted me back and said, "Sorry to hear about that I hope all goes well. We do expect you to see you here tomorrow and Saturday." Excuse me? In a situation where my family member is fighting for their life, you're going to tell me you expect to see me at work tomorrow? She had texted me later that day and asked me to give her a call that day. Again, I was in the hospital with my family trying to watch over my poor family member who is in critical condition, so I chose family as my priority because there was a life on the line. So, I did not give Nicole a call back the same day, because I had been in the hospital watching over my family member. There was no one else to watch them and I was the only one available at the time, so I had offered to watch over my family member until my aunt was able to come back and watch over them. When I returned back to work, she had a written notice ready for me to sign for my attendance because I had been gone for a few days for my family member that was in the hospital. But let me note that whenever she wanted to leave early to go and get her cats some food at 4pm, or leave early to go to her manicure appointment, when we close at 6:15pm, everyone had to accommodate her. It was as if no one else was allowed to have things go wrong in their lives otherwise Nicole was going to extremely upset with you and threaten you with a write up for attendance. I started to realize that this is not the place I want to work at any longer and I started my search for a different position within Tri-Counties Bank. My window was always open. I never closed my window unless I absolutely needed to if I had an overflow of cash from a deposit that I needed to put in the back or something of that sort, and the cameras can prove that. This was a slower day, and I had just finished a transaction with a customer, and I was the only one on the teller line at the moment, the rule is two tellers at the line for security purposes but that doesn't apply to this branch because there was never enough staff to do so! Anyways, Nicole Johnston was walking by my desk when I was in the middle of applying to a Tri-Counties Bank position, she didn't say anything and continued to walk back to her office. She then got on TEAMS and messaged me saying that I shouldn't be working on "personal stuff" during work hours, and that "that's not what Tri-Counties Bank pays me to do." So, I walked all the way to her office and asked why she didn't address the issue when she initially walked by my desk. Her response was "Oh I completely spaced it until I got back to my office." I also let her know that it was a Tri-Counties Bank position that i was applying to and she said, "Well still, you can do that on your own time when Tri--counties Bank isn't paying you." Keep in mind that two employees that are still hired within Tri-Counties Bank applied to TCB positions while being paid by TCB with THEIR WINDOWS CLOSED AND CUSTOMERS IN LINE. But Nicole saw no issues with that. Favoritism is a large thing here at this branch when working with Nicole Johnston and Deanna Barnett. So, if you're looking to apply to this branch, please, rethink your actions unless you want to be poorly compensated and expected to be at work during family emergencies. It honestly was great within the first couple months. After around the 3rd month or so I started to realize why the manager, Nicole Johnston, could not keep that branch fully staffed. Things started to piece together. Tri-Counties bank also doesn't really care about their employees like the facade they put on to try and seem like they do. I worked there for about 8 months and that branch had not been fully staffed since I started. After having several conversations with both the branch manager, Nicole Johnston, as well as the assistant Branch Manager, Deanna Barnett, about having full staff and that it would help out the other employees in the branch in case one of us had an emergency or got sick, etc. They ended up hiring a Personal Banker with ZERO prior banking experience at $19.50 an hour, who also then quit about 4 months later because of Nicole's managing style, and those were his own words. I think Nicole Johnston would excel in Sales. However, she is the worst manager I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity of working with.

Wells Fargo Bank - Alondra, Branch Manager. The person who refused to cash my check.

    Wells Fargo Bank

I've been a customer with this bank for a little over 15 years, and I went in to simply cash two checks totaling a little over $2500. The teller, Ziggy was polite, professional, and helpful as I felt Ziggy was new which is the reason he needed an override..::He did explained once having me sign the check he would need an manger override due to the amount of one of the checks that was $2040 which I completely understand. Unfortunately the interaction with the branch manager, Alondra Soto Dorado, was the complete opposite. From the moment she got involved. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She refused to approve the transaction without any explanation and did not provide any clear reason as to why the check could not be cashed. As a long time customer, I felt that this kind of unfair treatment is unacceptable. What made the situation worse was the way I was treated. There was no effort in trying to communicate responsibly or respectfully or offer an alternative solution. On top of that I was intentionally given incorrect information about her identity. Which forced me to return to the branch after filing a complaint with corporate just to confirm who I dealt with. From my understanding after briefing my wife whom was outside sitting in our truck she joined me the second time and confirmed Alondra, knew exactly who I was. My Wife used to work with Alondra, at the check cashing. Not sure what her issue is with me however, No customer should be treated with such disregard and clearly discrimination. Especially when simply trying to cash a check and have access to their own funds. Professionalism, transparency, and basic respect should be standard. I've already felt a complaint with Wells Fargo's corporate and I pray they take this matter seriously. Based on my experience, I was inconvenience and had to take my check to US Bank who cashed the check with no problem, even though she had me signed a check and she stamped it. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution, others about visiting this location until improvements. Wells Fargo's this specific branch 355 Memorial Way, Chico CA 95926
