Very rude and unhelpful woman helping me today to just get a bank statement. I have to two different branches of this bank in Casa Grand Area, in both places ,one finds rude and unhelpful and arrogant people. It seems. to be the prevailing attitude Chase bank. I guess for a big bank customer service is not that important. Shameful. read more

They don't truly care about the customer, the small day to day just living individual... The branch in town in Casa Grande has rude, never enough tellers at windows, continually raising costs or eliminating services, not interested in convenience why ever get rid of the drive-thru (oh, need shaded parking for staff) more interested in being caught up with gossip between each other and whoever will stand and talk.... will say I did have a positive interaction with a phone rep once. If I did our family's finances I would leave, but I don't but am the one sent to deal with the face-to-face dealings.... read more

6/13/22. Casa Grande, AZ. You can't call the bank and make an appointment or ask a question.. when you call the local number you're transferred to a foreign country, the you get transferred many times .. if you want to make an appointment with a banker, they'll give you an appointment 3to 4 weeks out. I hung up and drove down there. There was only one banker. Before Covid there were always 2-3. They also have decreased the number of Tellers. I waited over 2 hours and during that time a young woman came in dressed in black looking as though she just go off of a Harley. She sat down on the coffee table in front of me and started talking to me. I was alarmed that something like this would happen in a Chase Bank (that used to be classy and prestigious) and did not engage in her banter. She abruptly got up and as she walked toward the back, asked me if I had been helped. She had no identification on her nor did she introduce herself. I wast there to open a business account, had all of my legal papers and my LLC. This procedure should have gone smoothly but it didn't. I was supposed to get a credit card for my business and they messed that up too. I have been with Chase Bank in several states for about 25 years. They have taken away the integrity, personal care, convenience and friendliness that set them apart from other major banks. I'm closing my accounts (3) and taking my money elsewhere. This branch is impossible to reach on the phone. I live a good distance away and am a private client customer. I typically need an appointment to go over my banking needs. Hard to make an appointment when they rarely (if ever) answer the phone. I've read reviews saying the other branch in town is better. Going to give them a try. read more

Chase bank decided to close my account with 1286.97 dollars remaining in it. They have decided not to return my money, nor allow me access to it. Initially they told me they would mail a check in 3 to 5 days. A week later they still had not done so, so I called to see how to get my funds wherein they told me it would be 45 days before they released the funds as well as a 3 to 5 day wait after that before actually mailing the check. When I asked to speak to a supervisor , the person on the phone would not allow me to do so but told me that they said I could go to a local branch and have the manager release my funds. Initially the manager told me they were too busy today and to come back tomorrow. When I told them I would be taking them to court for the return of my money and all late fees and return item fees for items not paid for which funds were available , they somehow found the time to make a call. This time their response was there is nothing they can do and it will be a minimum of 15 days . I should add it's already been 2 weeks . That being said, I did contact the consumer financial protection bureau to file a complaint and expect a resolution there . I encourage you to do so also if you've had problems with Chase bank. Also, if you haven't opened an account yet , don't . They will force you to sign an arbitration agreement restricting your right to sue them in cases like this . And banks are increasingly engaging in activity like this, I encourage you to research this and make your own decisions accordingly. read more

My disabled mother and I just got treated very rudely. The disabled customer section should be reserved for disabled customer, but is not for some reason. I am my mothers caregiver and I have to help her walk and stand, the teller wouldn't let me stand next to her for some reason, like I was doing something wrong. Basically the tellers are Nazis. read more

I just left one bank and moved to Chase thinking it'll be a much nicer experience, but so far all I've gotten is no attention, no acknowledgement, long wait times for tellers, long wait times for bankers, and overall bad service. I usually do my banking during my lunch time which can be anywhere from 11a-2pm and every time I go to any Chase Bank in Casa Grande I am told a wait time will be 30min-1hr to just see a banker. I've tried to avoid going into the bank by doing most all my transaction and banking online, but trying to open a bank account with Chase online is almost impossible and takes almost a week total for everything to settle. I'm about done with Chase and I've only had them for 3 weeks. read more

If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. As a Chase customer for over 5 years, I had ASSUMED that the bank was protecting my money. This, unfortunately, was not the case. In January I noticed that MANY unauthorized debits had come out of my savings account. Silly me to think that a savings account was more secure than a checking account since there was no debit card attached to it. Upon realizing this, I immediately call the fraud department. Since this was a Sunday AM, I end up speaking with a representative in Asia with less than perfect English. I explained my find and was asked when the first suspicious activity took place. I initially stated that it appeared to be in Nov. but then noticed a small ($4.31) debit in June. Through her broken English she said "only 60 days" over and over. After trying to understand what she was saying, I finally gave up, asking to speak to a rep. in the US. Upon being transferred, it was clearly explained that they will not cover any fraudulent charges after 60 days of the 1st appearance. I was also told that it was MY FAULT for not checking my savings account regularly. I can accept that I should be checking it but when it is a SAVINGS with no access to it, one would think that the bank would've notified me if large amounts were being withdrawn from PayPal. In the end, they refused to investigate the large charges that started in November and I am now out almost $10,000. BANKERS BEWARE - Chase will NOT protect your money! read more

I came to this location to cash a large check. I had already called in to Chase Bank's customer service line to make sure that I was able to cash it and they said I would be able to with two valid forms of identification. I went to this location and they refused to cash the check saying that the amount was too great and they would not be able to cash it. I again called the chase bank customer service line and was again told that yes they can and should cash the check especially considering it was a check issued from Chase bank. (This is not a personal check either) The representative I spoke with put me on hold for five or six minutes which was fine, returned and told me yes they should be cashing that check. I then decided to go to the chase bank across from the Promenade which is the only other one I'm aware of in town and they cashed the check no problem. Either the employees here are lazy or ignorant or possibly a combination of both. The only time I have had problems with Chase Bank in Casa grande is dealing with this location. So if you bank at Chase you might as well go to the East location because these people don't care and don't know. read more
