Horrible bankers, I've been sitting here for 15 minutes. While I was sitting a banker ignored the fact that I was waiting.

I called 2 wf branches to ask how late the lobby was open. Both calls had a recording saying they couldn't come to phone LEAVE A MESSAGE OR CALL ANOTHER BRANCH. it was 6 pm and i needed answers quick. This Branch...the 3rd one did actually answer! They did stay open till 7 pm. Why WF doesn't post hrs on their Yelp site is confounding. WF take note: banks are all competing for our biz...and we pay ridiculous fees for convenience. The least wf could do is answer their phones and update their Yelp page to include hrs of operation. I arrived in time and was actually greeted by branch manager Cameron_____. Not only was he courteous but when I explained about lmisolaced card and that i couldn't wait 7 to 10 days for a replacement he paused and found the Branch nearest me that does have the ability to issue replacement cards on site. That was exactly what i desperately needed. Some may not have stopped and Looked up the branch..the address abd phone number but he did. Wf hire more managers like Cameron at the TrinityMills Carrollton Tx or lose my biz tova competitor!

Woodforest Bank as a whole is 4.5 stars. I love small banks. It's simple and straightforward…read more I give 3 stars because of their service and lack of expertise. They are friendly enough so don't let that deter you away. You just have to ask plenty of questions and be very patient. If you don't have those things you'll be frustrated. I originally went to the Addison location because their service is great and they are knowledgeable. They always greeted me by name and asked me how I was doing.

I've had accounts at this location for decades. Starting with Compass Bank, recently taken over by…read moreBBVA and now it's part of PNC Bank (of Pittsburgh). My business here is coming to an end. The staff at Compass was always trying to get me in a room and grill me about my vast assets, lol. They played tricks, like making it difficult to open a CD at an advertised rate, or renewing one and changing the term (needed a "wet signature"). Or, if you came in for a chat, they would bump the money market rate up but it would drop back down in a couple months. When it became BBVA, there were no real differences. Account numbers were the same. The Compass Bank checks were still good, because the routing number worked. The old ATM card worked, although a replacement eventually came out. Lock box fees doubled, so I took that business down the street. No other problems, to speak of. BUT this week, BBVA became part of PNC. All of my account numbers and routing numbers have changed. I have a new debit / ATM card. Never wanted a debit card, but Compass came up with the bright idea of adding a service fee for just a plain ATM card. My checking account has become a "virtual wallet". If has features that I don't need (or want). And, my paper statements will cost me $3 a month. Anyway, I've been going through the motions of updating all direct deposits and ACH transfers (auto drafts) for utility bill payments and such. What a pain! My current debit / ATM card was supposed to still be okay to use, or I could activate the new card by using it at the ATM. I read on Nextdoor that other folks weren't having any luck. I tried my BBVA and PNC cards this afternoon at the ATM. Neither of the cards work. Thanks a lot, PNC. The updated ATM screen also has text so big that it can be read from across the street. No secrets here. If you pass this bank during business hours, you will see lots of cars in the parking lot. There are many unhappy people in the lobby. I hope they have accounts at a bank down the street that aren't so messed up. I'm changing my direct deposits and bill payments to the account at the bank down the street. Then, I can close my new PNC accounts.

Two out of three times I called customer service they hung up on me and my request was relatively easy. The mailing address on my bank statement wasn't similar to the one I had on my account and asked that to be resolved and after waiting for long time on hold, they hung up on me. They can respectfully say they can't do that. No need to be disrespectful. Worst bank ever! I regret opening an account in PNC.
