Do not go to this Chase branch! The employee Jessica is very rude, do not trust her for help

Holly IIiff was supposed to help me open up new account, She denied me after calling the main office and they told her yes open her account. She said no I had the cash and I receive Ssi direct deposit, she profiled me. Shes really strange I don't think she should be working with humans. So I'll take my money elsewhere. She 100% off her rocker. @hollylliff read more

Chase Bank - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Arroyo Grande, California

Very happy with the customer service for my business account at the Arroyo Grande location. Staff is friendly and professional. All my concerns are addressed quickly and they go above and beyond to meet my needs. read more

Very helpful bankers and tellers. Tip: If you use the electronic payment system online, and your check is not cashed for whatever reason, the amount is still taken from your account ("funded"). It is kept out for a bit over three months- I found this out the hard way, so be aware! read more

Chase Bank - unfortunate juxtaposition of exit sign... - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Arroyo Grande, California

The location on Grand Avenue is always a pleasant experience. Not sure why they choose to pay someone to stand at the entrance and say hi vs hiring additional tellers to expedite transactions. read more

Only one teller on phone with call center. Been here 20 minutes with no end in sight... will never be back to this branch....

Here is an update as to how badly run this bank is. After getting my mother- in-law into the branch to sign papers in April we thought everything was taken care of. In August I noticed the statements from Chase continued to show up in my late father-in-law's name. I called and fortunately Adam was on vacation so I was able to speak to someone who called me back. It turns out there was additional paperwork my mother-in-law needed to sign before the account could be put in her name. But once again it was up to us to chase them. We arranged to get the signatures and paperwork completed and sent it in in August. I asked at that point if there was anything else that we needed to do and was assured everything was taken care of. Fast forward to the end of December and I noticed that my mother-in-law's IRA required minimum distribution check had not yet arrived. I called the fellow from August and was put in touch with Tony instead. He told me that there was yet another signature needed in order to get the check issued by the end of the year. So I scrambled to get the paper signed that day so that the check could be issued on time. Fast forward to mid January and the IRA distribution check arrives dated January 12, 2015 not December 31st as required by the IRS. As a result it will be reported as income for the 2015 tax year and the IRS can impose a 50% excise tax on the amount of underpayment for 2014. The IRS may wave the penalty if the shortfall is due to reasonable error and reasonable steps were taken to remedy the shortfall. So hopefully the IRS will accept that Chase Bank has a bunch of inept employees working there and not penalize my mother-in-law for their gross mishandling of their own paperwork. Once again it proves you have to chase them for what matters--your money! Do yourself a big favor, don't bank with them! read more

I will never work with Chase Bank again. We were trying to open a business banking account with an offer that has been sent to our office SEVERAL Times. After waiting for almost 45 minutes we were told that the offer they sent us is NOT available for businesses. Second, we were told that there is no business banker on site on Saturdays. Obviously Chase Bank does not understand that small business owners are too busy OPERATING during the week to waste hours waiting around in their waiting rooms for the wrong personnel to work with us. We're canceling our credit cards and will move all of our business to another institution. Not your best day Chase Bank!!!!! read more

The service here is hit or miss. Very inconsistent. The tellers are inexperienced and not very knowledgeable. The teller manager is not that helpful either. Overall one star service. I personally think that this branch gives the bank brand a bad name. Will be putting money in sesloc. read more

We want to let everyone know that we had the best experience due to Guillermo Valdez. He was knowledgeable, courteous and most of all polite. read more

This chase is always so clean and tidy, and the customer service at this branch is always great. They are so nice and always willing to help out. And they are never super packed which is the best part. The only thing that would make them greater, would be a drive up ATM. read more

Went here today to get money out, they opened 17min late, even though I watched employees go in on time or shortly after. By the time they let us in they still weren't ready to help us. There was a line of 8 of us that decided to stay and only one teller helping us. Which is fine and stuff happens but where it upset me was when there is at least 4 other employees walking around asking us if they could help us at the ATM instead of getting behind the counter to help. That's bad customer service, especially from the guy sitting behind the desk in the glass office that said "Vice President" on it. He should have been the first one behind the counter in my opinion. If this is a somehow a Chase policy, than it is not right and needs to change! read more

I went in to this branch today with an issue about someone using my debit card for months without my knowledge. Emily Wyatt helped me and my experience there today has given me a whole new standard for banking. She listened, she made me feel heard & understood and then she proceeded to fix my problem with such grace and urgency. She actually cared about what I was going through and worked hard to help me get justice. Emily Wyatt deserves a promotion and a raise!!! and this branch in general is just superb!!! I will use chase bank for the rest of my life. read more

This bank consistently has just one teller working, if they get a customer with needs that take awhile the wait is horrible!!!! Did I mention the wait is HORRIBLE! !! read more

I was very pleased to meet Eric Hallin - personal banker for Chase in AG. He saved my accounts! I was about to close my 20+ years of banking with Chase (previously WAMU) due to the new price increases beginning in Feb 2011. After talking with Eric he explained the best way to keep my accounts open with Chase w/zero price increases. He gave details of alternate solutions and I was able to stay with my Chase. I thank Eric for all his help and if in doubt take a minute or two to talk with Eric. Very please with his communication skills and options! read more

Great customer service and the tellers are great! .... there is just not enough of them! Plan on waiting in line for a while!! Yet they always have bankers lounging around doing seemingly nothing!! read more

Unbelievable that I can't open account without an appointment and they done open accounts after 5pm. That is the worst service ever. I've been a bank manager and this policy would have never applied in my office. read more
