If I could give zero stars I would. Completely unprofessional. You can't even leave a message so she doesn't check her messages. I called numerous times finally got her and she goes "hello?" I ask her for pricing on some things and she tells me she's not at the shop and she'd call me back in about 30/40 mins. It's been 3 hours. It has taken me a few months to write this, but again Deb has made the process of what to do after your pet passes over the rainbow bridge so much easier. She has taken care of many of our fur kids just as she took care of Chirp with respect and much compassion. We will go to Deb as long as we still have our "pride" of cats. An exact quote from debs website. She proved differently today. I have had my pets cremated here in the past, two of them to be exact and have never had an experience like today after losing my kitten with almost no notice due to an untreatable medical condition. I gave her a call and explained that i was using the rest of my money (as an 18 year old) to have my cat put to sleep due to a saddle thrombus (an untreatable and very painful blood clot) and that i don't get paid again for two days. i asked if she could hold her body there until i was paid and then i would pay in full and leave a tip. she replied "Its not my job to worry about your financial problems" and hung up with no further conversation. Luckily i found a place that will allow me to do this, but after finding that place i also realized Deb overcharges. When my last pet was cremated by her it was $160 for a group cremation and my pet came in a ziploc baggie. At the other place for $190 my baby is getting a private cremation and coming home in an actual urn. I am so incredibly grateful i did not bring my baby here and so incredibly disappointed that she was trusted with my last two. Please do not bring your pets here i promise she only wants your money she doesn't care about bringing you peace and having your pets remains forever. read more

She came to our house sooner than originally planned (at our request) after our dog Spock passed away and handled everything with kindness and care. Our review is a bit different than the others, as was our situation. However the owner was extremely rude and non-compassionate towards our situation. We were looking at urns, as i picked one up she yanked it from my hands and spoke to me as though i was a child. I would not recommend this business *edited to add--- my mother lives out of state and we had just received the cremains. The urn she had ordered had been damaged in transit and we had absolutely nothing to transport my sisters remains in. We came to Deborah in desperation as my mother did not want to take her daughters ashes home in a plastic bag, she wanted something a little more respectable until the human urn she reordered would arrive, we had already check local funeral homes and they needed to order the particular one she wanted. We were less than "distraught and confused" although Deborah treated us as so. It was a very unpleasant experience in a desperate time to show my sister some dignity and respect by transporting her in something other than a bag. read more

This is my first experience cremating a pet, so I didn't know what to expect. Losing a pet is not an easy thing to deal with. Deb was very compassionate and really helped to make a sad occasion a little more bearable. I love the atmosphere at her place, it's very serene. At no time was I pressured into buy anything. I checked out her site ahead of time and pretty much knew what I wanted for my cat Misty. She is now in final resting place wrapped in the pink bag that Deb made for her, along with the rosebud that is wrapped in her fur. That was a very nice touch! I can not express in words how wonderful Chartiers Custom Pet Cremation is. We lost our dog, and they help make the arrangements so much better. My bf and I felt welcomed and comfortable about what was being done with our Oliver. The owner, Deb, is a wonderful person and really helped us in our time of grief. I just called the owner to inquire about cremating my pet....What a weird conversation I just had with the owner, Deb. I have never had to cremate a pet, so this is new to me, and also a tough thing to organize. I simply wanted to find out the most cost effective way to have the service completed, such as dropping off the remains, etc to ensure cheapest cost. As soon as I brought up that I was interested in hearing about the cheapest way for Deb to provide this service, the phone call became almost insulting. She made it appear, by tone of voice, and fumbling about her not thought out words, that I wasn't affluent enough to afford her world class services of simply putting my dog in her furnace and providing me with his ashes in a nice urn. Deb, did I need a Rollys Royce to inquire, or do you insult all of your potential clients in this manner? I didn't even continue the conversation and hung up on her as she mumbled about how "if i was already inquiring about price, then she wasn't the one to help me, and that all of her clients come to her because of the service she provides".....Deb, newsflash, you are pottery teacher posing as a cremation expert. You instantly pushed me away because i asked about costs, and looking for your cheapest option. So essentially, even if her cheapest option was 1 million dollars, and i wanted that one, she didn't want my business, as she was only interested in the 10 million dollar deal....Weird!
