Update: My heart was completely broken when I saw that their cute little hut had closed down! However I saw a sign saying they are opening soon near Lundy's Lane and Leonard Ave. Hopefully it is still them! Good value, good taste, good portions. Had the ox tail and will go back to try other dishes. Cute and quaint place for quick service and take out. Support the locals! Food 5/5 Service 4/5 Value 5/5 read more

Authentic little no-fuss Caribbean spot in Niagara Falls. The dishes all have a nice level of spice and the prices are extremely good with large portions. Definitely a good spot if you're craving the cuisine in the area. read more

We met another couple while I'm Canada who recommended this spot. They spoke so highly of it that we opted out of our complimentary meal at our hotel and wandered over. One word DELICIOUS!!! The food was so fresh & perfectly seasoned. I was pleasantly pleased with gospel music playing in the background & the owners sweet demeanor and spirit. I got the oxtails and we ordered plantains on the side. The plantains were made fresh to order and the oil she cooked them in kept them from being soggy like most. Out of all the meals I've had since I've been here this was probably my favorite read more

Charms Jerk Hut - a tray of food and a bottle of beer - Caribbean Near Me - Niagara Falls, Ontario

The food was amazing the best jerk chicken Ive eaten in a long time and the prices were great aswell.

We had the curried chicken, oxtail, jerk chicken, curried goat and curry chicken roti. We ordered over the phone but then had to order again when we arrived because she got busy and didn't prepare anything. The portion sizes were huge and the food was really tasty. The goat and oxtail were super spicy and all the food was a bit salty for my taste but still good. I would definitely visit again. read more

I was in the area last month and wanted Jamaican food and found Charms Jerk Hut. The outside needs a little work, but I must say that the food is authentic and has a lot of flavor. I am Pescatarian and had the roti with curry potatoes. The roti was a little dry, but the potatoes had a great flavor. My boyfriend ordered rice with oxtails and a side of sweet plantains, so I tried some his rice and sweet plantains. I must say that it was delicious. The downside of the restaurant is the food service. They took so long to serve the food. I would recommend this place to others, but be aware that it may take a long time to receive your food. read more

One of my favorite things about Jamaica is the jerk chicken. Hell, it's probably one of the main reasons to visit an extremely beautiful country. The taste here takes me back to the Caribbean. The meat is extremely well seasoned, and blends well with the rice. Definitely recommend the gravy if you're not able to handle a spicier palate. Friendly staff that are patient with even the most indecisive of good-eats-goers. Say yes to the Coleslaw too! Generous portions for the price read more

Charms Jerk Hut - Jerk Chicken Breast, Rice, Coleslaw - Caribbean Near Me - Niagara Falls, Ontario

Great food and make sure you try the Real Jamaican rum cake. The food was so good that I visited this restaurant 3 days in a row while in Niagara Falls. My girl is Jamaican and very picky and she even loved it. read more

I've been going to this restaurant weekly, I must say the food is great I would highly recommend the oxtail and rice! Good portions fantastic flavour. however staff is not friendly sour attitude and not very inviting . I keep going back because of the flavours. It would be so nice when you enter the restaurant if you receive a smile! read more

You can tell the food will be good when the place obviously doesn't have to pay much for rent, and the food here is excellent. Especially for the price! read more

We ordered jerk chicken and goat stew. They were both amazing! The portions were great for the price. Super friendly lady hooked us up with the coleslaw. Would definitely come back if we're in the area! read more

Delicious authentic Carribean food. Huge portions. Cheap price tag. Need I say more?!

Overall I would rate my experience here a C- . The food was very plain and no flavour. They didn't have half the menu ready for when I was there at 2pm. As well the staff wasn't very friendly and they seemed so upset when I didn't tip, I mean I ordered take out so I didn't feel I should of especially with the service. I was disappointed in my visit. read more

The jerk chicken meal was good, and the large was a huge portion - enough for 2 to share at lunch. The food was good but not amazing. They were out of plantains and coleslaw, otherwise if they had that I'd rate them more like 3.5 stars. read more

We bought snapper and king fish meals plus a few other food items. The food was acceptable, though the amount of cabbage salad was nowhere near sufficient (particularly given that I mentioned how much I enjoy it). The fish lacked the necessary heat, most likely because the restaurant caters to a lot of tourists. read more

I passed this place so many times but went in recently. First, it's definitely not a sit down and eat place. The store is like a little shack on the side of the road -just like in the Caribbean, and I like it. If you're looking for 5* experience this is not the place for you. The service was wonderful and food was delicious. Although all I ordered was jerk pork and peas/rice. The portion was plenty to full a hungry person. I plan on going back soon to try other things. It was good to find a place NF, away from the tourist stuff. Delicious. read more
