My Sister Can't Cook pulled a rabbit out of their hat yesterday!…read more The wedding party at our venue hired a food truck from phoenix to provide food for their event, and sadly, they were involved in an accident enroute that precluded them from attending. One phone call with a scant 2 hour notice, brought the MSCC team to our door with a complete, top quality catering for 40 guests that was raved about all evening. I wish I could give them 10 stars! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!

This review is long overdue, as we had Chowhound cater our wedding back in May. That said, I cannot…read moreoverstate the absolute joy it was working with Kevin and his staff to get our guests fed. He worked with me, months in advance, on our menu and budgeting, and was always willing to try new things in order to make us happy. The day of the wedding went incredibly smooth, largely in part due to the Chowhound serving staff's flexibility, who Kevin himself was personally a member of. All of this praise, and I haven't even mentioned the food. It was the highlight of the night. We had a hawaiian themed menu with pulled pork, mashed sweet potatoes, and the works. For the price, Kevin and his staff went above an beyond, and we recommend him to anyone who needs catering in the area.

We paid in full for catering and confirmed multiple times that everything was scheduled. The day of…read morethe event, they called and canceled last minute due to illness. While that was extremely unfortunate, we understand that things happen, that alone wouldn't justify a one-star review. What does justify it is what happened next. They did not proactively offer a refund. We had to call them and request it. Even then, they acted surprised and said they would "consider" a partial refund. When we asked why only partial, they claimed it was because they had already purchased the food. So let me get this straight, you cancel on us the day of, and then expect to keep part of our money because of your internal costs? That's not how professional businesses operate. Completely unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and go with someone else!

We booked Big Rob's Catering for a company leadership retreat more than a month in advance. As…read morerequired, we paid a 50% deposit upfront. The day before the event, we attempted to pay the remaining balance by card, but it didn't go through--likely due to location. We immediately offered multiple other payment options. After discussing it we sent her a check. We were fully prepared to pay her in any form she preferred. On the morning of our event, we were notified that she was sick and would not be able to cater for the two days we had booked. We completely understand that illness happens, but when we asked if she had any backup plan, referrals, or anyone who could step in, she told us she had nothing to offer--no alternatives, no assistance--and that we would be left without food or services. Despite canceling on us the day of the event and providing no services whatsoever, she refused to return our full payment, stating the deposit was non-refundable. However, her contract clearly states that non-refundable deposits apply to client cancellations, not cancellations made by the caterer. There is no clause allowing her to retain any portion of the payment if she is the one who cancels. As a result, our company was left scrambling at the last minute to find food for a large group over two days, which caused unnecessary stress and disruption to an important event. Communication after the cancellation was also unprofessional. We were told she would not issue a full refund and were effectively told not to contact her further. Based on this experience, we would strongly caution others against using this company--especially for important or time-sensitive events where reliability, accountability, and professionalism matter.

But can one REALLY stop at just pizza when there are wings to be had? We always ordered the garlic parm and the lemon pepper. That, with those delectable twisted breadsticks and sometimes one of their deserts...we were set, usually for the entire weekend! This last visit, however, we tried something new, after a casual remark made about a particularly hard to find pizza was made to the owner. The elusive Smoky Bacon, Chicken Ranch pizza. He mentioned that they make that, only with green chilis...so we got a small. How could I know that a pizza, once thought of as perfect, could be made better! Everything we got was amazing! the crusts are perfect, both crispy and chewy, just as they should be. We had both boneless and one-in wings, and they were incredible, tender meat, nice and crispy on the outside with making flavors. Needless to say, we didn't get any deserts, this visit, but those are delicious too and will not be ignored often! The people who work there are quick, efficient. friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is currently under renovation, but if open, friendly, casual and fun. They have something for everyone, even Keto friendly! Enjoy! We certainly did!

Leslie and Mike made the evening perfect! As hosts my wife and I didn't lift a finger unless it was taking a bite, and all night long our guests were RAVING about the food! The pulled pork and the pineapple chicken were down-right drool worthy, and I loved the fresh bite of the fresh sweet peppers stuffed with a cheese mix! The hit of the show though were the snacks and desserts. The sugary pretzels and apples with Carmel dip, and the fruit with chocolate dip, and the brownie bites with this dab of Carmel magic, and the Bourbon snack mix.... oh and their SMOKED CHEESE!!! Obvi I thought it was amazing. The food really was out of this world, the friendliness of Leslie and Mike kept our guests entertained, and they cleaned it all up!!!
