He told that he took other work and will come next day. After that when i called few times, his girl friend/partner replied saying he was sick with flu. Since then he will never respond to my texts or calls. I moved all stuff into one room and my wife was pretty pissed off. The guy didn't inform or reply about schedule change or even take our calls. We are stuck with piles of luggage in one room and he barely care to respond. Initially he said that he has another work next week but he only has couple of days worth work at our house. When i sent email to his email, it bounced. Now i am thinking his company is fake and i would not recommend the company for any one else. He talked about quality a lot and complained about previous refinishing in other rooms. He didn't have decency to update the customer about change of plans. He just moves to other contract leaving existing ones in the middle if he gets a better rate and bigger work. That's what i am getting about this company.

Also impressed that there wasn't any harsh chemicals being used, no smell, and when John was leaving, I mentioned that I accidentally stained my car seat with coffee. We had him paint some of the walls yellow, which is a terrible color in terms of coverage, and the paint he used turned out awesome in just two coats (I have painted yellow before and three coats didn't do the trick). He made suggestions to help keep costs down and the final result feels so much cleaner and brighter than the builders grade paint that was here before. It's been a few months since the work was done and the gutters have not leaked since. At least one location was really hard to get to, but Brian took the time to think through solutions and got it done.

I was a little particular about the floor color because it was the first floor I could actually pick the color, for the most part. Our beautiful oak floors were amazing once they were sanded and stripped and I wanted to keep them as close to original as possible; which isn't. Jim went out of his way to apply samples more than once, to have a phone conversation with me about the differences in water and oil based products and to find the product I wanted all the way in Cleveland. Now this man has some pull... the supplier drove it to him when the Fedex deadline was missed, just so I could have my floors finished on time! Now that is service. His prices were excellent and mother nature dealt us a blow on the expected start date, but he finished in the week he said he would, was very communicative and kind and really helped me understand a bit more of the process.
