We removed our child mid-year due to concerns we felt we were not addressed adequately. I was very transparent and forthcoming during the enrollment process, but I do not feel that was reciprocated. Their summer program has changed. It's shorter and doesn't have the same classes. When I called I spoke to someone who told me things that were not supported the content on the website. Disturbing in and if itself. I've been watching their website since last year when my son indicated his favorite counselors said they would not be back next year when they said their goodbyes. There was no new content on their site as of January and when things changed there was just a splash screen pointing you somewhere else. On the advice of a friend and fellow parent of two campers we have signed up somewhere else. Another one of our friends who signed up before talking to us has had a terrible experience with scheduling. There are only two week classes, not four as it has always been. Why would you pay the same for two duplicate sessions? Clearly there are changes happening but we never thought anything was broken and we are the ones writing the checks to someplace else. read more

My children have loved their time at CRS -- it's the appropriate amount of academic challenge (i.e. always stretching their minds without stressing them out), great teachers, lots of opportunities to try new things (arts, public speaking, sports, community service). We live in a town with strong public schools and I never thought we'd go the private school route, but I'm so glad we did. read more

We have been at CRS for 10 years with our two very different children and cannot say enough about the academic and social program. Our kids have never once in 10 years not wanted to go to school. The day is busy, interesting and the students are constantly on the move and working in different groups. The thematic learning engages the younger students while the middle school program prepares the kids for high school while helping them to build a quiet self-confidence. The buddy system between the older and younger students teaches empathy, patience and leadership. The electives and clubs in the middle school allow kids to explore anything from Model UN to yoga to mountain biking. Finally, the middle school advisory system creates an invaluable bond with another adult during the middle school years and beyond. read more
