She takes care of what is needed to ensure my health and helps me improve through eating, exercise, and self-care. I used to go to the Tyson's Corner location, and it was a great office, but you had to pay for parking there, and it was at least $3.95 and more the longer you were there. For the Reston Town Center location, you have to start a parking session, but as long as you are going to be an hour or less, parking is free. I have never been longer than 45 minutes for any of my visits. I am very happy with this location. The front desk staff is excellent, well-trained, knowledgeable, and people-friendly. My primary care physician is truly amazing. Dr. Gannon's schedule is booked way out, and that indicates she is a great doctor with a great following. Besides her, I have only seen Alicia, one of the many fantastic PAs with One Medical. I have seen Alicia a few times, and she is wonderful, very caring, and helpful. One Medical is where you should be if you are looking for a good practice. There are lots of great physicians to choose from and see, and I am very happy with them. I highly recommend them and this particular office. I've been a patient in this group for about 2 years and found this practice through Yelp when I was looking for a new PCP and practice.

Liked the provider, though. I had hopes for this office becoming my new primary care. They were recommended by a friend, but nothing seemed to go right from the start. I was informed patient intake forms aren't available online. I have a hand disability, so writing is hard. How are these not available digitally in 2024? They offered to snail mail it, and I laughed pretty hard. Ended up with numbness and pain filling it out in person. Next, the waiting room is far too small. There were more people than seats, so I chose to stand. For 45 minutes. Got there 15 minutes early, as requested, and wasn't called back until exactly 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. No regard for my time, not informed they were running late. I have to assume this is standard practice, but my friend swore it's not. I saw the NP and was genuinely impressed that she listened to me and spent a good amount of time going over my health history and current concerns. As annoyed as I was initially, I felt this could be a great start for me after my previous care provider of over a decade left the practice where I saw her. I went home feeling relief that I found a good provider. Nope. I was wrong. I mean they seem to provide good medical care, but I was wrong that my search was over. Two weeks later I get an email my lab results are in, and while checking them out I see a message from that same morning about billing in the portal. I look, and somehow I owe them over $200 for the visit. My insurance covered nothing. I called, asked why, and was told I'd hear back. This didn't happen, or at least it didn't happen before the (presumably) automated system contacted me via email and text to say I owed the same money. To be fair, I actually LOVE the aggressive billing notification. Other offices send incidental invoices via physical mail and I never get them. This system ensures I pay on time, which I'm a big fan of. But I'm not a fan of everyone overlooking the whole "your insurance isn't accepted" thing when the first question I had when scheduling my appointment on the phone was "do you accept my insurance?" and they TOOK MY INSURANCE NAME, MEMBER ID, GROUP ID, AND SAID YES. WTF. You had one job. Could you please do it? On the phone with the front desk again after the latest digital reminders to pay, I was informed I owed the money and my insurance isn't accepted. The operator then became rude and said, with a healthy dose of attitude, that they could write off part of the invoice and reduce it. The implication, heavy in her tone, was "if you're too poor to pay" and I kind of wanted to smack that tone out of her voice. I informed her that they did provide a service, and I wasn't trying to get out of paying. I just wanted to know why the insurance I was told was accepted was in fact NOT accepted. I also let her know I will not return because there's no point in doing so. 4 stars for all the promise and because my experience is hopefully uniquely awful and not indicative of the practice overall. The friend who recommended them was STUNNED by all of this, so fingers crossed it's just me who gets this uniquely awful experience. Docked the one star for, well, everything mentioned above.

Later the admin nurse said they were really busy and got upset when I pointed out we were the first appointment. While my wife was getting bloodwork done other patients walked in on her carrying urine samples. Despite telling the nurse that she had received a BCG vaccination and would test positive in a TB skin test the nurse injected her anyway. After injecting her they informed us we would have to come back two days later on a Saturday to have the results read and that the Reston office was closed so we would have to go through to Ashburn. In my opinion this is all information that should have been shared prior to injecting my wife. When we did go to the Ashburn office that Saturday they seemed surprised she tested positive and non e of the nurses knew what to do. The doctor sent us back to Reston for my wife to get a chest x-ray which we did that day. The next week I had to call to follow up about the paperwork and they seemed clueless and in fact asked me to fax over the x-ray results. When I told them I did not have them they asked me to call the service they referred us to and ask them to fax the results over. When they finally got them I said I would like to pick the form up on Saturday. The next Saturday I called the office and was told that the form was at the Reston office and we would have to wait until Monday, requiring me and my wife to take time off work to accommodate their schedule. We finally got the form and sent it off only to receive notice from the USCIS a month later that the doctor never signed the form. I called the office the next day and requested they provide a new form signed by the doctor and have it in the Ashburn office for us to pick up on Saturday. When I called the Ashburn office on Saturday I was told they did not have the form, needless to say I got upset and raised my voice, but I never insulted or cursed at them, simply aired my frustration. At this point the nurse informed me that she did not appreciate me getting upset with her and that I was rude and there was nothing they could do. I hung up the phone and just drove to the office figuring it would be harder for them to brush me off. When I was only a few minutes from the office I got a call that they found the form and had it ready for me, but again accused me of being verbally abusive. I pointed out that while I raised my voice I was not verbally abusive and if they did not like me raising my voice they should make sure they get the forms done right and in a timely manner. At this point they said they have a lot of staff and two offices, to which I simply responded that the amount of staff they have and the number of offices they have is not my problem. In the end We got the form, but had to jump through way too many hoop , deal with rude staff, poor excuses, and pay. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I am grateful they are not our normal doctor.

When asked about my medical history, I told them I have history of anxiety as I normally did with previous doctors to give them background of myself. Without my consent, I was given a psychologist referral (despite me already seeing one). I'm kicking myself for not speaking up in the moment. I now fear saying anything about my medical history as doctors will use it against me and charge me more despite those not being topics of interest for my visit. I'm disappointed that the sharing of my information is seen as an opportunity for a money grab, and has now caused distrust for me. Please be careful and mindful of what you say during your visits. I've called for over a month about disputing the visit code and was dismissed week after week only to be told today that they refuse to do anything about it and will not offer any support.

SO, as mentioned above I needed an urgent care facility as I was feeling beyond miserable and my local tried and true facility wasn't open for some odd reason so I searched and found this establishment. Reviews were great so I said perfect, yet upon arrival I literally sat in my car second guessing even going in because I've been spoiled by the likes of Inova and Patient First where "curb appeal" is a thing (& matters). Yet I got over myself and went in because as I said I was sick! Upon entry I again said maybe I need to keep searching because you literally can see the dust on many of the items that are both on the floor and strewn upon the tables and walls .... and there's so much tattered signage on the wall you don't know what to look at or what's relevant .... But the service! The front desk woman was phenomenal! Her "bedside manner" was top notch as I listened to her ease the worries of folks on the phone and simultaneously take care of me and one other patient. She was truly the shining star of this establishment. And my wait time was non existent which was really nice! I completed paperwork, insurance was verified and the doctor saw me right away. The doctor was interesting because I felt as though she was more interested in my nail design and handbag than in truly paying attention to what I was sharing about my illness.... But she diagnosed me and sent my prescriptions right over to the pharmacy with no issues. So, as I said in the beginning, tough review to write because the service provided was pretty good, however, the packaging in which it all was wrapped was tattered and we all know presentation matters, so, this was a one and done experience for me and I'll be returning to Inova or Patient First where I feel cleanliness standards are met,
