I am moving out and my mower broke right before the wind and leaves literally blanketed the entire front yard! I'm not exaggerating (although being a Texan does give me the right) there were leaves everywhere! Not only did Raul answer my first call, but he drove out to the house within an hour to provide an incredibly good estimate! Add on the fact that he and his team blew out the gutters and trimmed perfectly around ALL sidewalks, mailbox post, landscaping bricks, gutters, everything! Oh and what's more - Raul came out SAME DAY and he and the team knocked it out! Obviously, they cannot do that for everyone, but WOW - that is incredible service and shows a great deal of character! There's not one leaf left in the front yard! They have all the right equipment and finished everything in a third of the time it would have taken me to do it! Raul was extremely polite and did a fantastic job. I would sell my mower and hire them for life if I weren't moving to another town out of the area! I even told the new neighbor whom I have never met to hire them before they left! Support Raul and his family with your business - you will be very glad you did!!! Wow! I'm thrilled with their work!

These people are amazing - there's just no other way to put it! A-1 was recommended to me by a…read morecouple of my neighbors via the neighborhood online site. A-1 was one of the three companies I requested to come out and bid on the removal of a very large (80-ish feet tall) cottonwood tree that needed to be taken out. I had my idea of what the cost would be and was very pleased when 2 of the 3 companies (including A-1) came in under what I thought the cost would be, including stump grinding and haul away. Chris, the owner, Steve, her Lead, and I had a long conversation about trees, and Chris's horse rescue ranch, and life in general - they are both down to earth and completely easy to talk with - they are happy to explain things to someone like me who doesn't know all of the ins-and-outs of tree care. So, needless to say, I decided to ask A-1 to take the tree down. The job was scheduled to take place in a couple of days and the crew arrived exactly on time and from the beginning it was clear that they knew what they were doing. The tree came down rather dramatically (to me) - if you've not watched this happen before, plan to spend time looking up, watching the process with your mouth open - the workers are a combination of daredevil and precise artisan. I have another cottonwood tree that is not in as bad shape as the one that had to come down, and it will also need to come down as soon as I can afford it. Chris has already quoted me on that and you can rest assured her crew will be taking that tree down. If you're in the market for some tree trimming, tree removal, or similar work, give Chris a call for a quote. You can thank me later!
