What a gorgeous, treasure trove of a store!…read more When my friend and I wandered inside, we had no idea how large it was, how full of beautiful and various things, and how long we would spend here! We were welcomed by a friendly staff member on the first floor where you can find some antiques and collectibles and lots of quality glassware, blankets, jewelry, candles and room scents. On the second floor we found room after room of absolutely stunning home decor of all kinds - furniture, art, sconces, lights, posters, art, and more. I saw about 300 things I would love to have in my home and I saw even more that I could find somewhere to put it if I only had the space. This is a gorgeous store and a must see if you are in Cannon Beach. If I lived anywhere nearby, this would certainly be a place that I'd come to find items for my home. There was enough variety in the treasures inside that almost anyone, with any style, would be able to find items to please their tastes. There were improvements and construction ongoing while we were here but it looks like it'll be even more lovely once complete.

I live in Idaho however, I collect her prints and they are grouped on the wall n my hallway. During my growing up years, we spent a lot of time in Seaside during the summer and although it's changed it's still precious to be down there. The people in the store are most helpful. This last trip I was assisted by the owner of this store who was bringing in stock and, like always, the service is great. When I arrived home I realized I already had one of the prints I purchased. I'll give Oregon Gallery a call to find out what I can do. I do have a suggestion for the artist; why not give some thought to a Christmas scene and also a 4th of July scene? I do remember being in Seaside during the 60, 70, 80 decades and the 4th was a huge celebration. Hope to be back to Seaside soon.

One particular print stood out so much that we made a point to come back the next day despite our tight schedule. The lady in the store was very attentive and answered all my questions about the Dorla Rose framed print we eventually purchased. She carefully wrapped it in brown paper and protected the glass with cardboard and even placed hanging wire on the back. While she prepared our purchase, we browsed the gallery and found some gorgeous photographs of the Oregon coast, cute and kitschy dog posters, vintage biking prints, and quality handcrafted glass and ceramic souvenir items. I'm so glad we made time to come back so I can have a beautiful and peaceful reminder of our Seaside trip.

Of course there are lots of prints and photographs of iconic Haystack Rock and Ecola State Park that are Just incredibly beautiful, captured in various weather conditions from bright blue sunny days, mist and rain, and sunsets in orange & yellow or pinks & purples. Breathtaking. While the colorful images are spectacular, I found the black and white photographs to be quite moving and am considering a large print for my master bathroom. If you aren't in the market for wall art, no worries, there are other items as well. There are lots souvenirs like coasters, greeting cards, plaques, shells and even some jewelry from local artists. Everything, including the wall art, is very affordable. Nothing pretentious about this shop or the items contained within. Definitely worth a stop if you are visiting from out of state, from other parts of Oregon or even a local. Just know the store is often crowded making it a challenge to navigate because it's full of inventory. When possible, I visit during the week.
