I got…read moremy hair RUINED by one of the "master" stylist to the point where it was so over processed I went somewhere else and they had to cut off over 6 inches. I could literally see and feel my hair breaking off, don't think I've ever cried that much in my life. My hair was long, healthy and soft and ever since coming here it's been dead. Not only did I have to pay for the balayage (which was expensive on its own) but I've also now had to spend $100's of dollars on Olaplex products to TRY to fix my hair. All I want is to get my hair to how it was before. Every time I look in the mirror all I can think about is how short and damaged my hair is now and regret ever coming to this place. If I can give you one piece of advice it would be DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! I've never posted a review but once I figure out how to post photos I'll post the before and after and you'll see the damage they did to my hair, it's bad!! :( Adding the pictures, the left was my hair right after my appointment and the right is a couple weeks after. (ps. my hair wasn't actually that orange, it is the light) but you can see how much shorter my hair is and that my hair is now super thin, breaking and falling out. I'll be honest tho, This picture doesn't even do it justice of how bad it really was, parts of my hair weren't even reaching my shoulders from the breakage and the parts that were were breaking with every touch. My hair now it just past my shoulders with how much they had to cut,, YEARS of growing my hair out RUINED. Never been to a place as bad as this! :( If I can save even one person from having the same terrible experience I'll be happy cuz this was honestly THE WORST experience I have ever had. :(

Wow, Liz and Sumi certainly worked their magic on my hair. My appointment started out with a thorough consultation to understand my hair type, my face type and how I style my hair on a daily basis. Then, we proceeded to a trim to the side of my head and at the back of my head. Sumi asked lots of great questions and walked through every step of the process to make sure I was aware of the procedures and communicated what was going on, which I really did appreciate. Then, we proceeded to the application of the solution which was pretty cool as it was 3-person teamwork project to apply solution while putting my hair into curls. It was actually a fun experience. The final reveal of my hair was amazing. I was in awe of how my dull and boring thick black horn could look naturally shaped with the curls. The style was clean and smart and the staff provided helpful tips to ensure that I can maintain my look for a long-term basis. I highly recommend this spot if this is your first or ongoing perm appointment. It was one of the most pleasant experiences, especially for this person who does not like sitting in a chair for long periods of time.

It was natural texture, clean shape, and easy to style. If you're thinking about switching up your look or trying a men's perm for the first time, this is 100% the place to go.

After reading the previous review I cleared my calendar for the day and ventured off to this salon…read moreto receive a fantastic cut. I was only going for a wash, cut & dry so I honestly didn't expect to be long... and I wasn't. Thankfully, I was in and out within the hour. I didn't find the prices to be expensive, in fact, I was surprised at how low they were compare to where I normally go. However... I certainly did NOT receive a fantastic cut nor did I experience any styling abilities that I would consider to be above par. Luckily though, I only had to wait 10 minutes sitting in the chair unattended with soaking wet hair. As a new customer, I think Nick honestly did try to focus on my hair and discuss various options with me but it seemed as though, with every 'regular' customer that walked through the door, his focus quickly shifted to them instead. I have long, curly hair with long layers and was looking to add a little more 'bounce' to my curls. The layers that were cut throughout the back are fine however, I was left with an odd layer that was cut into the front which has left me looking as though I'm trying to grow out my bangs... which I don't have... Or didn't have... I don't know what I have anymore! The next day when I tried to style it myself, it was a colossal failure! I typically just diffuse my hair and go - not quite the case anymore! I had no option but to run to the store and purchase the essential tools so that I could force my hair into submission! It's going to take a long time to grow this out. :(

I went in with a gift certificate from my birthday to get my hair done and ended up spending about 3+ hours in the salon. Not only was I forgotten about multiple times, but I was left sitting in a salon chair with wet hair for about 20-25 minutes. Not cool. The salon wasn't even busy so there really wasn't any excuse. I was so upset with the service I received (what made it worse was that it was supposed to be a birthday gift) that I refused to go back. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a salon that gives me as good results as this place had. When I was having my hair done regularly, I was rather pleased with the salon. The owner, Nick, while crazy busy, is a nice guy and most of the stylists etc are very nice. I will say that you shouldn't go here to get your hair done if you have somewhere else to be within the next few hours. Expect a solid chunk of time to be taken up while here. No one can dispute Nick's fantastic styling abilities. It's not cheap to get your hair done here but the cuts are FANTASTIC. It's my understanding that Nick studied hair design in Europe and it definitely shows. Even when your hair is growing out waiting for that next cut, it still looks fantastic. And even when I stopped going there, my hair still looked fantastic until the next time I got my hair cut elsewhere. I was usually going in for color and cut (sometimes with highlights) and the cheapest bill was probably in the area of $120. Until I had that terrible experience, I would have rated the salon a 4, but if you're looking for a good place to have your hair done, this is one of the better places I've found.
