Out of all the daycares we viewed, Angels R Us was clearly the best choice. I wish I chose this place first! It's so clear they care deeply about the children and provide a safe and engaging space. My son just turned 4 and I don't regret our decision one bit. The staff has been kind, extremely caring and also provide academically rigorous instruction for the students. My 4 year old now has weekly spelling test for his sight words and many times he comes home already knowing how to spell the words because they practice at school. He knows how to count beyond 50+, identify letters and letter sounds and I think this is a direct reflection of the hard work happening at daycare and at home, this has been a true partnership all centered around the well being of my son! Staff also keep the children and families engaged with family projects, frequent spirit week celebration, amongst other things. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Ms. Barr and Ms. Anise. These two women have played such a huge role in my child's development and overall comfort at the daycare. My son talks about them daily! It is clear their hearts are deeply invested in the work they do and they challenge and teach children from the very beginning! I can go on and on but Angels R Us is a great option. My experience is a year with KinderCare has been nothing but stressful!! the only reason it took me this long because all the other daycares were full. I would pick my son up and he would be dirty and wet even though I brought enough clothes for him to be changed, they have sent somebody else's clothes with him before and we have no idea what happened to his, When he was a little younger I picked him up with two bibs one on top of the other bc they are too lazy to take the dirty wet one off , I once got a call from ms.Ashley telling me that my child is unconscious! after scaring the hell out me she really meant that he took a nap and he was in deep sleep. They once called me to pick up my son because he would not take a nap and they needed to take a break. Every single day when I pick up my son he's crying for water bc they never give them water. One of the teachers has a child in the class and she's constantly comparing her kid to my son and comparing our parenting style.(super unprofessional) she has even mentioned before that it was not worth becoming a daycare teacher and last week she labeled my two year old son as "snotty" and that was the end of it for me. Every time I voiced my concerns to the Director Anita she would brush me off by being "customer service"by that I mean she would say " I am so sorry to hear that, I will talk to them" things will be good for like two days before going back to nasty normal. Either she didn't do much about it or the teachers do not respect her enough. There many more incidents but I can't list them all. Class is maxed out with kids who are not being taken care of and not enough teachers. 320$-350 weekly for this daycare is not worth it, I would gladly pay that to a daycare with teachers who actually love kids and not to a daycare with teachers who work there for the discount they get for their kids. Don't let 25 good google reviews fool you like they fooled me.

Children of America has a lot of advantages over the other daycare facilities in the area: Daily reports can be viewed electronically (versus paper ones...SAVE THOSE TREES!), surveillance option, astroTurf for the outdoor playground (versus wood chips and dirt...that little ones like toddlers can easily gnaw or chew on,etc.). Last but not least, excellent Teachers and Directors. My son has now moved up to his 3rd room. Every room that he has been in, the teachers were excellent, welcoming, interactive with the kids and communicative. If only COA had a location in the Mokena area as well *hint*

I appreciate how much my daughter has learned and grown from knowing her colors and shapes before one and all of her letters before 2. I've always been amazed at stuff she knows, like counting backwards, cause I knew I wasn't responsible for it (LBVS). Some teachers who have stood out are Ms. Linda, Ms. Theresa, Ms. Caitlyn, Ms. Leann, Ms. Destiny, Ms. Kat, Ms. Kobe, and Ms. Tricia. I would certainly recommend COA as they provide updates daily in an app along with video capabilities. I also appreciate the activities they have after school to keep parents active (Bentley activities) and informed (parent conferences). I'm so thankful for COA.
