My father died of colon cancer and carcinomatosis only 3 and a half months after being diagnosed. We were very eager to get out of the house he died in and move my mother to Nashville to be with me. When first speaking with the men at CSSI we were told there would be a 3 week to 1 month wait. Upon explaining our situation and our need to be out of this house, they made arrangements to help us immediately. Not only were they very sensitive to our situation, they really came through for us. The people at CSSI are genuinely good people. They care and it shows. Lee is the upstanding man we worked with and he got our hardwood ready in a week so we would be ready to move in by our move in date. The house is beautiful and they did an absolutely amazing job. We consider Lee a friend now, he really went above and beyond. Below I have attached before pictures of the carpet and after photos of the wood.

Originally, the price was $2000-$3000 and he kept asking about homeowners insurance. I told him I wasn't filing it on homeowners ins and suddenly the price came down to $635. hmmm.... price gouging much? So, I hire them. The first contractor comes out to my house and, quite literally, ripped up the particle board. We're talking about jagged edges everywhere that you couldn't even get to with a saw. The next day, a different contractor comes out, who is not happy to see this mess. So, he does his best (minimally) to correct it. The third day, they bring in another guy to help them. We're now on the 4th day. There are 3" jagged spaces between the cut particle board and the ripped out part, which they say they'll patch. By all accounts, when the first guy messed it up, they should have pulled the cabinets and replaced what he messed up, but instead, they'd rather patch and go the cheap route. I should also mention that they shattered my oven door when moving the stove and tried to get out of paying for it. I ended up splitting it with them, but I am not pleased

Jim (the owner, contractor) was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Deana (owner/wife) kept us updated throughout the process. She visited multiple granite suppliers the next day and searched throughout the stacks until she found an almost identical match. They have a larger crew of people so they were flexible in scheduling and everyone was friendly and capable. It took almost two years to settle and we only got back a fraction of what it has cost us to remediate the various issues. It has been three years since they began work on our house and we continue to find issues with the work that they did. Literally NOTHING was done right... Not even grouting tile in the bathroom or laying laminate floors, which are two of the easiest things that any company can do. Their labor team is under-skilled, unqualified, unlicensed, and undocumented. They are also poorly supervised and left to do the job without anybody watching to make sure that major mistakes are not made. There's way too much that went wrong for me to list here, but I would highly suggest that you pass on IKB and find somebody else to do your work. You should also know that many of the positive testimonials on their website and their Google reviews were written by friends and family members.

I asked for the island to be moved after they started constructing it and was surprised at how agreeable they were to move it over. Not only agreeable but they had it done in about 30 minutes.
