Since you don't know how to do a proper brake fluid flush, I'll leave this here for you to read and maybe, just maybe, you can get all of your shops on the same page and the proper brake flush. Your shop mgr at Chapin says they do it differently at every shop, which is obviously no ok, and the fact that he actually said the quiet part out loud, is alarming. Bleed/flush each wheel This is where the actual replacement occurs. A pressure bleeder is generally the professional/preferred method when the manufacturer's procedure permits it. An OEM service procedure found in NHTSA records specifically identifies pressure bleeding as the preferred method, while manual bleeding is an alternative. The technician: 1. Connects the pressure bleeder to the master-cylinder reservoir. 2. Uses the correct adapter. 3. Pressurizes the system according to the equipment/vehicle specifications. 4. Opens the designated bleeder screw. 5. Allows old fluid to flow into a clean collection container. 6. Continues until clean, fresh fluid--with no air bubbles--is coming through. 7. Closes the bleeder. 8. Moves to the next wheel.

I have dealt with more automobile service agencies than I can remember. I have recently moved to Chapin. Months prior to this move, my rare and much treasured 2007 Jaguar XKR developed a recurring and puzzling problem. I had taken it to Jaguar dealerships and my local mechanic several times. Each shop replaced random parts, charged lots of money, but never got to the root of the problem. On the advice of new friends and neighbors, I contacted Taylor's Auto Service. I did have serious concerns using an unfamiliar and unspecialized facility. I called, described the symptoms I had experienced and scheduled an appointment a few days later to drop off the car. On the first visit, the car behaved normally in the shop without issue so they returned it without charge. The problem occurred again soon after, requiring a 2nd visit with a more detailed system inspection. This has been the general pattern for this very random and rare recurring problem. With a better appreciation of the situation, Taylor's specialized electrical staff quickly found the TRUE problem, ordered and installed the part, and my pet was finally back home and running properly. While reloading my personal gear the next day, I accidentally triggered the car's anti-theft system. The car froze and I was unable to release it. I called Taylor's, asked for help, and the Shop Chief came to my residence. He quickly reset the system and gave me his expert advice to prevent this from happening again. There was no charge for the rescue. I have never experienced service like this anywhere. Needless to say, Taylor's will be my family's one and only service contact from now on.

Started noticing that every time we had something done (even an oil change) there ended up being something else (usually expensive) needed shortly there after. Ask for an evaluation for an issue, charged for evaluation and issue worsens? Final straw, after an oil change, oil leaking and causing major repairs ($1000+) needed to be done. And then issue not even resolved? Bad gasket? I think not. Bad practices? I think so. Don't be tempted by the coupons. Not to be trusted. We have learned our lesson. It was expensive. And hassle-filled.
