After driving over 1500 miles in 2 days, the following morning my back was seized up, it took me 20 minutes to get out of bed. I haven't lived in the area for 20 years so I called my daughter and asked who to go see. She said to go to Slidell Chiropractic. When I called, they were so sympathetic and told me to come right in. At first I was a little concerned, they wanted x-rays, I haven't had a Chiropractor take x-rays in years and I go fairly often. After that they put me on the roller table, I should have one of those, it was heaven, even in the pain I was in. Then I met with Dr. Brett. He was so laid back, took the time to talk to me, learn about my lifestyle, then adjusted me. The entire office made me feel welcome and relaxed. I was walking much better when I left and by the next morning, I was much better. I just knew when I checked out, this bill was going to be a whopper, after all, emergency visit, all that attention, x-rays and relief, it was worth whatever the cost, I was not prepared to pay the same thing I pay for a 5 minute in and out adjustment I get at home. Talk about the icing on the cake. They said they could see me again on Monday but by then, I was fine. I will probably visit whenever I am in the area just for a regular maintenance adjustment and that awesome table. It's refreshing to find a medical establishment that still genuinely care about the patients. read more
