My first time for this little Indian restaurant in Crawley. Pretty busy on Thursday night. They had…read morealmost full house but only one server and one busser running around try to get everything done. My friends and I had to wait for almost 30 mins before the manager came to took our order. The Food took a while but that's understandable because everyone seem to came at the same time. My friends and I ordered from banquet menu aka set menu for €15.95 which was a very good deal. I thought the portion will be small but it was actually pretty big (for me). For appetizer I got Chingri Puri which is stir-fry shrimp with onion, garlic, and ginger. It came with some kind of bread similar to Naan. It was good but I expected more ginger and garlic in there. For my entree I got Chicken Gurka's Revenge with extra spicy. It was really delicious and full of flavors. Hot and spicy with garlic and chili. It's my best Indian dish I've ever tried!!! I also got Channa Masala, chick peas with Tikka Masala sauce, as my veg dish. It was really good as well. One of my friend doesn't like spicy food so he ordered Makhan Whala with chicken. It was good with a little sweet and nutty taste. For entree you can pick a side of regular steamed Basmati rice, mushroom rice, lemon rice, egg rice, and a few more choices but we all op for the regular steamed Basmati rice. We also got a garlic Naan too. Once our food came, there was no space left on our table. There was so much food for €15.95! Every staffs there were really nice. They came back to check on us a few times. (After our poor server got everything under control) It was just too busy to have one server on floor. Otherwise everything else was great!

Fortunately we walked in early enough to get a table for two without reservations. However I highly recommend calling ahead during prime hours. However, if you must wait a bit they will likely bring out a serving of tea to bide you over. We ordered the dinner for two and could not believe the variety, flavors, and portions. The naan was amazing as one would expect. The chicken, rice, lamb and sauce was filled with flavor, spice, and and diversity. I'm not sure one could find anything to disagree with. However, I've yet to share the best part! The hosts and servers made the evening unforgettable! (I won't share all the details so you can engage and discover your own surprises.) as in true afghan style, we were greeted warmly at the start and felt like family when time to leave. They enjoyed us dining with them as much as we enjoyed all they offered. Overall we experienced a delicious and peaceful night out, filled with new friends, tastes and memories. I trust and hope others will take the time to experience this gem!

Note, it was a Tuesday night! The service was very attentive without being obtrusive. We had to ask a couple of times for extra chillies, chilli sauce, anything to liven the food up a bit, however there was inconstancy with one waiter saying they didn't have anything to another getting us some spice.
