I am so grateful that I have been able to work with Debbie, of Well + Orderly, to declutter and…read moreorganize my home. She has met with me on several occasions and at each visit we tackled one different problem area of my home. We have worked in several places that had become a "catch all" for our home and complete disasters: coat closet, awkward below stairs closet, side kitchen counter/home office, kid's closet and basement. These areas felt so overwhelming some days, it was just easier to throw things in on top the pile and shut the door rather than think about cleaning. Or, when I did clean the spaces, they would quickly re-accumulate junk. Debbie was able to help me clean out, sort, discard, and reorganize with prioritization on things were practical in each space. She did this methodically and efficiently. She was also able to help me create new solutions for storage and organization, often with materials on hand, that made better use of each space. Anyhow, I feel that people need to be warned of scammers. "Have an actual schedule; be honest with her clients when there is an issue (as opposed to making promises and then flaking out, rescheduling or just flat out ignoring others); and above all: COMMUNICATE. If there's an issue, whatever it may be -- whether it's me, your life, whatever the case may be -- just say so. Even if you want to hide behind a text; that's fine. But when someone is counting on you, either live up to it or be a grown lady and say you can't. This woman actually blocked me because I had the "audacity" to tell her (via recorded audio) that if I had done something to make that resulted in her acting -- pretty much, like an over emotional and irresponsible teenager, then I was sorry. This resulted in me being blocked (or just flat-out ignored). Nevermind the fact that she was paid $700 for a booked 11 hours ($550), or that 2-3 of those hours were spent just hanging out and/or watching YouTube. Moving is one of the most stressful events in a person's life. The very last thing anyone needs is to be treated like a nuisance, lied to and disrespected. Denise knows how to pack a box. No qualms there. Basically, if you're a woman, rich, don't really put her to work, etc., she might be who you want. If you want someone who isn't going to suck nearly a grand out of you and then treat you like the plague, avoid her at all costs. DENISE -- YOU ARE A BUSINESSWOMAN; NOT A HORMONAL TEENAGER. If you can't handle the fire, get out of the kitchen."
