He found more damage underneath the threshold of one doorway -- probably shoddy original construction-- so applied his carpentry experience to repair/ replace the parts even though it was not part of the original plans. He even drove home to get additional supplies. He took the time to make it look nice and more importantly prevent future damage. He is very careful in the house and cleans up thoroughly. The job took about 2 weeks but it was finished as planned with everything exceeding our expectations. The biggest complaint is lack of respect for my family's time. Every day but one they were hours…read more(not minutes) hours late, pushing the timeline of the project due to drying times for next steps. The last day they had roughly two hours of work and left to allow for drying again, telling me they would come back next morning. I had to message them 40 min after they were supposed arrive to ask if they were still coming, they did not reach out preemptively. At that point my husband and I decided to just finish ourselves, as they said they could come at 11 or Monday. In addition, two of the 4 days they came they had to leave to go get materials (which they ask for 1/2 up front to purchase materials). Both times they were out from the project for 1.5-2 hours (one day they had to leave twice). The work was good, with the exception of one area that we had to repaint. But poor time management made this experience not good.
