We were so pleased with the work that we had no hesitation in contacting them again to carry out a two storey extension on our new property in Chipping Norton.

We recieved three quotations in all for our extension but chose Acorn not only for the competative price but also for the way in which the quoation was detailed. We also felt comfortable with the fact that they had beeen established for over 25 years. We are very impressed with the friendly and proffesional manner in Nelson and his team went about doing the work. After agreeing the quoted price for the works Nelson supplied a staged payment schedule based on works completed with a retetention sum being held by us until three monts after completion. As the works progressed we were kept fully informed as to exactly what would be done during the following few days ahead. This gave us time to plan furniture and carpet removal in the rooms that needed to be altered Nelson and his team were pleased to help with this. The build took nine weeks to complete and we are very pleased with end result . The cost for the project was exactley the same as the quote with no hidden extras to worry about. Altogether a pleasent experience after hearing so many horror stories about some builders. We have had many admiring comments about our new extension form both nieghbours and friends and would not hesitate in recomending Acorn Renovations to prospective clients. Tried viewing a property THREE times. The first time I called, there was very limited availability…read morefor an agent to show me the house and they promised to call me back, which they did not. The second time was when I had set up a viewing of a property via email, meaning I had in fact received a confirmation email.  But when I showed up as appointed, no one was there. When I called Scott Fraser, they explained that they had not received confirmation from all the tenants but had not bothered to tell me. I then tried to schedule a third time, but SF told me that they needed to confirm tenant availability first. As I received no confirmation of this fact and did not wish a repeat of showing up without confirmation, I assumed that the viewing was not going forward. However, I then received a voicemail from Scott Fraser wondering where I was? Honestly, who are these people?
