Update: Dr. Mike reached out several times and exhibited a caring and contrite attitude which was greatly appreciated. I have edited my original review below to reflect my current perception of the experience. Original review: I did not have a good experience. I think he may be a good fit for some people but I am very sensitive energetically and physically and his style did not line up well for me. He was friendly and energetic, but told me he "didn't believe" in long term POTS, which was tough to hear because I have had the condition for 15 years. I told him in detail about my chronic issues, and he said "we can fix all this today!" I was skeptical but willing to try. He said he was going to do acupuncture on my head / jaw / shoulders....I have had traditional acupuncture before and that is not what I received from him; instead, he used 2 inch acupuncture needles and inserted them all the way into my areas of tension (face included) then wiggled them around quite a bit. Apparently the correct name for this is dry needling, and I would have most likely said no to this treatment had I known what he was about to do because I am quite sensitive. It was painful and did not solve my issue in one visit, which was what I thought he had promised. I have heard that this type of therapy can be helpful, and he did check in with me often to see about my pain levels. I do want to say that his manual adjustments were very effective. Oh, also they don't bill to insurance for acupuncture and you have to pay out of pocket and then submit. read more

I have had acupuncture, adjustments and massages here. I recommend all the services that I have received. They will work around your schedule which is really nice for me since I have so many kids. And every one is well trained in their areas. I was referred here after my car accident and I love everything about this place. It's tucked away a bit but is very cute! The staff is really sweet and helpful. Dr.Mike is great... always makes me feel comfortable and I leave feeling so much better. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr Chanatry! He healed shoulder and neck pain I had been dealing with for the past year in one visit. The treatments I've received from Dr. Mike have provided immediate relief to my back pain, largely mitigated several chronic ailments, and has ultimately improved my overall quality of life. I'm an active individual but for years have had on-going back issues. Compared to people with serious problems my problems were relatively minor and I've just bared through them, but it was enough to cause frequent discomfort and keep me up at night. After urging from several people - including my girlfriend being kept up at night - to see Mike, I went into Chanatry Chiropractic. Mike first asked a number of questions and conducted a physical examination, then thoroughly explained his diagnosis and the treatments he was going to perform. I could tell it was important for him to communicate and for me to understand everything that was going on. I asked Mike to do as much work on me as he could do an any single day and he gave me a full chiropractic adjustment and full acupuncture treatment. None of it hurt a bit - despite knowing that needles were being stuck into my body - but I left the doctors office feeling like I'd run a marathon then drank a six-pack. That night I slept like a baby. The next day I was still sore, but by the afternoon I felt amazing. I went surfing and just felt stronger and more fluid. The waves weren't anything to write home about but I surprised myself at how well I surfed them. I've gone back for treatments a number of times since. I still leave sore and drained and feeling sort-of-drunk, but each time it seems like I'm less sore and that the adjustments last longer. The pain in my shoulder that would keep me up at night has mostly gone away and my back and body feels overall stronger and more flexible. Have been a patient here for 13+ years, and chiropractic professionals have provided effective, beneficial treatment throughout. Dr. Mike is a miracle worker!!! I had suffered from sciatica pain for a year...at times, the pain was so intense that I couldn't walk. I ended up at Care Spot a couple of times and got injections and muscle relaxers & got temporary relief, key word being "temporary". I tried many things to get relief, including getting acupuncture from other providers. I went to Jax Orthopedic and followed the Ortho's recommended regimen, including exercises, stretches and Physical Therapy. After not getting relief, the Ortho referred me to Baptist Neurology. Before my appt with the Neurologist, a friend referred me to Dr. Mike. I had my first appt with him on 5/9/19; after the consultation, he said to give him three acupuncture treatments, two weeks apart, and he believed he could resolve the issue and eliminate my pain.
