Called Deans explained what happened. Was asked what year my car was. Told him, 2010. He said it was probably just dried out from the sun after so many years. (I don't care how old it was, you damaged it.) I stated now anyone can walk up with a lug wrench and just grab the tire. He stated they can do that with the cover on. I get that but it wouldn't as easy. Not to mention the bolts will now be exposed the weather, you know, rain, snow the things that rust out metal. I have contacted my Ins to inform them that damage was done by Deans, and they will not make it right. Maybe Deans should be taken off their list.
