It was clean inside, but when we got in it was so cold we didn't want to take our coats off and when I turned on the heat it was set to 99 degrees and when I tried to turn it down the buttons didn't work (you had to push the button 4-10 times to go down one degree) and then it would plummet to 54 degrees and blow cold air on us. So the whole ride I was turning the heat on and off to try to keep it a normal temperature. They also asked me if I wanted ice when I booked the limo, but when I looked in the cooler, all I found was 2 empty ice bags. Overall, it was fine, but the company should fix the heater since it is winter.

The Charlotte-Essex ferry used to be the main route between New York and Vermont before the Crown Point Bridge was built in 1929 (and since replaced by the Lake Champlain Bridge in 2011). There is a waiting area and they load/unload the vehicles quickly. No messing about! This ferry runs year round but check ahead in the winter if there is heavy icing on the lake.
