He also threatened to call the tow truck and the cops because apparently I didn't go into the store fast enough for him... The gas prices were decent enough, and the station was laid out in an organized fashion and was clean. What struck me most was the convenience store here (Maplefields). It was quite large, immaculate inside, with a huge assortment of fresh foods (sandwiches, baked items, salads) and beverages. I thought to myself, if I had to use the washroom (which, thankfully, I didn't, I wouldn't hesitate about asking to use the bathroom here. Note that I usually avoid gas station bathrooms LIKE THE PLAGUE. But here, the store was so clean and orderly, I'd use the washroom in a heartbeat if needed). I saw some beautifully packaged Vermont maple syrup on sale for a super price, and I got a few for gifts for friends back in Seattle, along with some fresh foods for the road for the kiddies and excellent coffee for myself. What a great place!

An employee came out and started yelling at me for "filling up" her trash can with my two small empty brown bags, and told me to leave and go to the car wash down the street. Dot's Market is the convenience store around the corner from the house where I spend the first 6 years of my life, and probably the initial cause of my sugar addiction. The eponymous Dot was a sweet old lady who knew me by name and kept all my favorite treats stocked. It has since been sold and I imagine that Dot is no longer with us, but I get a little nostalgic whenever I am back in Burlington and driving through my old hood.

He stood by all the coffee pots and machines and told her to get out in a very rude manner and I believe he put her his hands on her to push her out the store and I told her to call the cops and I have went to the store today to show the store manager the video of him hiding all the coffee pots and kind of being very rude and she has came to the conclusion that when he's working there in the morning that she would ask that I just not go there in the morning but I can go there whenever I want when there are different employees working. At that point other nearby Walgreens were closed or closing so it couldn't be had the same evening. I asked why they didn't notify. "I didn't have the staff to call," was the answer. Disappointing and dangerous way to run a pharmacy. If in medical danger, this could mean the difference between treatment and having to go to the Emergency Room at the hospital. Disappoined. More of this kind of failure and they could be sued.

It is gratifying to be cared about in finding things at a store when one has little time to read all the signs, or, When a person is unable or uncertain how to locate an item! The store is packed with such a variety of cards, seasonal items, pharmaceutical access and all the usual products that modern day pharmacies offer. An Erica, that works at the pharmacy, was an outstanding help to me the other day. She took the time to research my insurance through the computer and "re-bill" me . This took time but l so appreciated her professionalism and personal concern that l be accurately labeled and billed correctly. I am a frequent shopper at Walgreens, and the staff consistently is kind and helpful ; but l would be remiss if l did not acknowledge Charie, who has been the most personable and professional throughout the years. This woman deserves an AWARD for epic service to the public on behalf of Walgreens. I highly recommend this South Burlington Walgreens. You can be browsing or in a hurry, and l can guarantee that this Walgreens will deliver every time both professionally and caringly.
