You had better be ready and strapped into your seat for his sermons because he gives you soooooooo much meat of The Word you have to go home and re-listen to it again (streamed or etc.) in order to catch it all! He does give GREAT outlines and notes--which I love!! He also is a fantastic study of the Holy Land and can give you a feeling of almost being there as he describes the scenes that his sermon study is taking place, the time frame that it is happening and what was symbolic regarding the culture of the people at that time. He is a phenomenal preacher and you are missing out on hearing a Word from Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ if you don't come!! The church family is absolutely warm and friendly, they greet you at each and every door! Its an awesome building with so much to offer! Grief Share was so helpful to my husband and I after both losing a parent within six months of each other. We started attending Lakes Church regularly and have become members. Pastor Aaron is a solid Bible teacher and speaks Truth. The worship is great and the staff is very kind and solid as well. I love that they are mission minded both in the local community and around the world! I also can see that the staff and teams are healthy in their spiritual lives and I have so much respect for this! All preaching, and never an example as far as an act of kindness goes. My family and I were super loyal to this church, always gave with every service... Just for them to spit in our faces when we needed them the most. All they care about is making money, the number of new construction definitely says a lot. There came a period in time where my mom had a change of faith. Instead of being respectful, the way they've preached, I was ridiculed and scrutinized every chance they got. That was when I knew I had to stop going! It was all fun while it lasted. The youth retreats, singing for the Lord, the Lock-in sleepovers we'd have were amazing until I started realizing the church is within ME and not this place.
