The owner is unresponsive and stretched the 10 x 30 project out over a month and they showed up whenever they wanted to. Several times they said they'd be out the next morning, etc. without showing, resulting in us having to reschedule things constantly. And they left before the work was completed and won't return phone calls or texts. The wood staining they did was the worst paint job I've seen in my 70 years, with many huge missed spots and heavy drips and runs. The kicker is they made large spills over a wide area on my concrete patio and pool deck which cannot be removed. They promised several times they could clean it up (which is impossible) and ultimately left when we kept pressing them on it. It is now going to cost us over $6200 to have it recovered with concrete paint bringing the entire area back to the original uniformed color! That's not the best but it is the least expensive option. I understand this company has also been referred to as A1 Custom Decking.

Guys wouldnt show half the time, show up mid day and work for 2 hrs and leave. Was told project would take a week, 3 weeks later & only half was done. The whole project has to be torn down and started over, we have lost cost of materials that cant be resused. It is a saftey hazard, they spilled paint all over our concrete & patio furniture. They cut lots of corners on this project. We gave them plenty of opportunities to fixed their mistakes. Once we discovered the center beam was not supporting the roof we told owner to stop working, it was a very big safety issue. Our home builder came to our house and confronted them and they told him they were going to fix it. Then, threatened us that they would come after us. Not reliable, professional at all. We now have to hire another contractor to tear down and start over.

The initial contractor that was supposed to put in our screened porches and doors completely failed us. They were in the original build bid, but totally neglected and we were left with some scraggly old posts that were twisted and warped. We called Brad Jacobson, and he responded within two days, he showed up at our homes and we went over all of our options, he was very clear in all of the things we could expect and choose. There was a slight delay in materials showing up, but when wasn't there in 2022, but once everything arrived, things got rolling. The screened porches and doors are not only beautiful, they are strong and sturdy, they really work well keeping out all the little bugs as well as enhance the look of our home immensely. Now we can really enjoy our porches no matter what time of year, without any fear of mosquitoes or bees etc. Thank you Brad, I know it's been a couple of months since they were installed but we wanted to give them some time to see if anything would change. They also replaced three 30" x 84" picture windows in our living room that provides a great view of the screened porch. The week that the workers arrived was one of the hottest of the year with daily temperatures exceeding 105 degrees each day. In spite of the miserable weather conditions, the work was completed on time and the results were exceptional. The screened porch is beautiful and adds so much enjoyment now that cooler weather has arrived. (Our cat gives the room 10 stars.) We are very pleased with East Texas Elite Exteriors. Definitely had some challenges on the way to include weather, labor and the wood. He told up front the timeline based on the product and then had some delays because of rain and labor issues.
