Do not take your horse here. It is cheap and for a good reason. The horses are skin and bones. Truly the worst barn i have ever seen.

I realized that this place didn't have a "yelp" page so I wanted to start one to share my…read moreexperience and help others find this place as well. Originally I bought some horseback riding groupons for a few different places, it's a great way to try out the schools and find which one works for you. I am pretty much a complete horse back riding beginner with an athletic / dance background and lets just say I am over 25 yrs old :P. The groupon was a steal such great value! I do have to admit though it took us awhile to catch each other on the phone to make an appointment, but I mean have you ever been in a barn? They're kind of big and I'm sure she was swamped with phone calls from the groupon deal. Regardless we were able to chat and Ann was very accommodating with scheduling me in. Since I don't have a regular 9-5 and I live in Toronto, I wanted a time during the day but not around rush hour. Ann was super nice about finding a time that worked for me. I've gotten 2 other friends to join me at the school and Ann is always able to find a schedule that works for them as well. The drive is really not that far about 40-50mins depending on how fast you drive. I arrived 15mins early but quickly learned that I had needed a bit more time to tack up my horse ect, especially when it is your first lesson you need about 40mins to get all the info and fill out the paper work and learn how to properly groom your horse. The 1hour privates is what I signed up for and are probably the most reasonable I have seen out there even without the groupon. Their 1hours are true 1hours and don't include tack up time giving you way more ride time! Thumbs up to that! Ok getting to the good stuff: Facility: Their barn and arena are amazing, and beautiful, and the viewing area is heated, huge glass windows lovely couches lots of space and free wifi! Their tack rooms are also beautiful and heated and kept very neat and tidy. Their arena, to me, is big and their property is big and gorgeous I can't wait to be able to ride outdoors. Just check out the pictures on the website. Horses: All their horses are healthy and very well taken care of, and very well trained. They also board horses. Teachers: So far I have had the pleasure of working with Ann (the owner), Shayla, and Leah, all amazing teachers and each have their own unique teaching style, but all Super positive, and patient. I absolutely love it here such a great atmosphere and beautiful facility. There is no snobbish or pretentious feeling here just great laid back folks and horses. It's like a mini getaway from the city! Beginner or competitive they've got it all!
