If your child will go with a stranger they have spoken to for 15 seconds through closed doors without their parents and with their snowsuit and ski boots already on- then they will probably have a good time. Not surprisingly, this caused a lot of stress for my child and a lot of other kiddos. The drop off is in a loud hallway that is full of families. It is very overstimulating. There is a line and a check in desk. Behind the check in desk, that has about 3-4 people working it, there are swinging doors like doors to a restaurant kitchen. You cannot see through them. You are expected to wait in line in this loud hall where lots of kids are crying. You wait in line and then at the check in desk give your kids name. Your child has to walk on their own with the stranger they have spoken to for all of 15 seconds into the room they cannot see into. On the other side they are passed on to another staff member. If your child is upset they will not take them. Also, Your kid needs to be fully dressed to ski with their ski boots on in a hot room in order to enter. Not surprisingly many kids were refusing to do this. After like 1 minute trying to get our kid to go with the staff member We were told we had to go to the back of the line and try to calm our child and try the drop off process again. Again when we got to the front our child was upset. This continued for over an hour as we tried to get our child comfortable with the situation. Our child has gone to various day cares since she was 18 mo old. We do not struggle with drop offs. Drop offs either need to provide a space for the child to get comfortable before parents leave OR you need to make the drop off quick and take the upset child and settle them without the parent. The hour plus of loud hallway with lots of other upset kids was so traumatic. Our child did end up going two days. Both drop offs were horrible. She did seem to have a good time and learn ski skills once she was there. BUT the drop offs were so traumatic that she now has ski school nightmares. I don't think we will be able to have here go to ski school for years now.

The USPS people, at Snowmass, work so, so hard and if you have a problem with how they run things, maybe you should sign up for the job and run it to perfection, since it's "such an easy job". They work their butts off, get their at 6am, from places that are a good distance away. Not to mention, you know how many parcels USPS deals with in a year? 124 Billion (that's with a B) and they are understaffed/undervalued. FedEx deals with about 5 Billion and UPS deals with about 4 Billion. USPS is dealing with 25 times the amount FedEx and UPS deal with, so just be appreciative that you get your package on time 90% of the time. Maybe if they were staffed well enough, they wouldn't be so overworked and so exhausted. Also, you yelling at them is not going to make them go faster! Try being a little more considerate. Anyways, they have always been FANTASTIC for me and I can't even tell you the amount of mistakes they've made because I don't think they have ever made one... no joke. Treat these people with respect because they are working their butts off for you, for little in return!
