Located in historic Fredericksburg, this shop is hidden among several antique and vintage stores so if you are into that type of thing you can kill several birds with one stone. Children's wear is my love language so when I walked in and found several well organized racks dedicated to children's clothing I was immediately in love. I only had ten minutes to browse before heading home but in those ten minutes I was able to find an entire collection of Beaufort Bonnet items in pristine condition. Even better, they rung up an extra 65% off so I was able to get six items for less than the price of one item. I briefly had a chance to checkout the other racks but I found a whole selection of designer women's stuff with brands like Trina Turk and Lilly Pulitizer. If you ever want to dress like a Southern belle but are on a budget -- this is your spot! Also, the shop people are super, super nice which is a huge added plus.

I spent about an hour looking through the higher priced comics along the front wall and finally settled on the perfect one. The store is the larger of the two they have in the shopping center. They took it over from Tuesday Morning when it went out of business. I think they indicated it was 18,000 sq feet. Probably the largest comic book store I've ever visited. Lots of comics, games, cards, toys, plush, even a video game in the back to play? They also have a sister store in Woodbridge, just much smaller.

I bought a desk online on Thursday at 11:23 and went to pick it up today, Saturday. When we went in…read moreto pick it up, the woman at the counter first said something to effect of they didn't sell the piece I was talking about. I showed them the email receipt I had and she told me that there was no receipt at the counter documenting the sale. It was at this moment that I had assumed they sold it to someone else, but nonetheless she looked up my name and was able to find the receipt on their system. We drove around to the back to pick it up and after about 10 minutes of someone looking, he returned with a supervisor. I showed them a picture of the piece and they went back to looking for it. Then, they returned a few minutes later with someone else. They did not have the desk and I had to go back into the front to get them to refund the purchase. The supervisor met me there with the receipt and was telling the cashier that the desk was sold to someone else yesterday, a full 24 hours after I bought it online. Of course they refunded me, but it was just frustrating that over 24 hours later it was sold to someone else. I would not consider purchasing anything online again unless you want to call the store immediately and have them verify that they put the sold sticker on it, as that clearly didn't happen. I wish they had a better online system that prevented this from happening with the few pieces that are listed online.
