The…read morechalet itself is located in a newer area of Arabba, known as Precumon about 500 metres above the village itself made up of many apartments and two hotel style accommodations. Chalet Barbara suggest a ski style chalet which it is an isn't. You could feasibly take over the whole place as it sleeps up to 34 people but it is as much a hotel as a chalet. The rooms themselves are beautiful. They are large, cosy and sumptuous, most of them having a good balcony, hydro-massage baths and even shutters you can open and close whilst lying in bed. There is a steam room and sauna which guests can use and a small Stube (cosy room) that you can relax and read in. Breakfast is taken in the dining room on the ground floor and is huge with a good variety of pastries, cereals, jams and fruits. The only downside is if you come to stay on a half board basis as evening meals are taken in the Sport Hotel, about 200 metres away. That said, the food in the Sport Hotel is amazing and the atmosphere posh and yet comfortable. All in all a good choice for anyone.

This is a beautiful hotel located just above the main village of Arabba in an area called Precumon…read more It is amongst the best of the hotels in the village, which in my opinion is a group of about 5 places. They are known as a good family hotel run by the Delmonego family and have mixed a stylish hotel with the ability for kids to run around. There is a good park/play area outside for the warm summers and in the basement a kids play area for them to play. For adults you can still escape the kids in the stylish bar or using the sauna and steam room facilities before enjoying a good dinner in their restaurant. In winter it is possible to ski from the hotel onto the main pistes and ski back to within 50 or 60 metres in the evening. The rooms are all well designed and decorated and each enjoys a good view in one of four direction, the best perhaps being those on the front of the building from where you can look all the way down the valley and take in the nearby peak Col di Lana. The only downside to the whole thing is that it is nestled amongst a series of apartments which isn't the norm in Arabba and perhaps detaches from the experience somewhat.
