I have 20 other contractors that I give leads to that appreciate what I do for them. After providing the first lead that resulted in a $4200 job, I tried repeatedly to collect the $420 I was owed. Instead of simply paying what he agreed to pay, he gave me excuse after excuse and lied to me five different times, repeatedly promising that payment was coming. He told me he would send the money through Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, and other methods, but despite all those promises, he never followed through. The issue isn't just the money--it's the repeated broken promises and lack of honesty. If you make an agreement with someone, you should honor it. Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business with Tyler Nichols. See the photo attached. When Jason finished trimming he joined his guy & picked up everything, put in his trailer & hauled it off. My neighbors have taken his number to deal with their tree issues seeing what nice work they've done. I can't say enough good about this guy. From start to finish they never stopped, I even offered them water. You could barely tell there was such a mess by the time they cleaned up, and at the best prices we've had here in Florida. It also caused several other branches to break but they did not fall to the ground. When I called, Dave answered immediately. I told him the issue, he said I will drop by before 1pm. He arrived with his crew by 11am. He provided a reasonable quote to cut up the branches, cut more branches that were over the house and lines. He also trimmed my palm tree up. I like Duffey Tree Care a lot and have used them twice. Once for removing 2 trees and trimming 3,…read moreand most recently for trimming 5 large oaks. These guys are certified arborists and their priorities seem to be: 1) keeping your trees healthy, 2) allowing wind to move through the trees to make them safer in hurricanes, and 3) keeping the shape visually pleasing. What they do is a science and they are not going to over-trim your trees or damage them. They have great equipment, are fully insured and are nice to work with. They arrive when they say they will and clean up after themselves. Are they expensive? I don't know as I didn't get any other estimates. However, I had no tree damage from Hurricane Milton - my neighbor spent $10k on cutting and removing downed trees from his roof, fences and yard.
