The space is clean, and the people working here were nice and efficient. The nurse was particularly great with my toddler. This is my second visit this week due to a long illness and while I was explaining why I came back I decided to give her the overall from last Tuesday since she didn't serve me then. She rudely says ok so why are you here today. No bedside manner at all. Then when I was about to leave I was waiting for the pharmacy notification to see if my meds were ready the front desk lady tells me the service is not that good here you should go outside. Signal was fine I strongly suspect she was trying to get rid of me because when she said that she walked away from me. Very unprofessional. Not even a have a nice day or a feel better. Won't be coming back to this one again. No bedside manner and they rush you out the door for no reason. I'm sick and perhaps I didn't want to step outside in the heat again so soon. The security guard was a sweetheart though so five stars to her but not to the people in the office.

I hobbled over and with the help of Tiera, Erica, and Doctor Lum, my wounds were cleaned up and bandaged. Tiera, Chris, and Shawna worked on my legs to dress my wounds painlessly ~ what a wonderful team! My uncle went in for the first time a month ago and he was having trouble breathing, had a chronic cough with no fever. But because of COVID-19 and his reg dr wasn't available, we decided to visit UMD. Dr. Sinha was very patient, thorough and knowledgeable. She immediately gave him a COVID-19 test(was negative)and called in a few prescriptions to his pharmacy. He felt much better after taking them but we did go to a pulmonary dr soon after and he diagnosed his condition and gave him regimented med. So we had to go back again within a few weeks after again for an unrelated injury. And again Dr. Sinha came to the rescue. She took care of the problem and explained everything to us and ordered another test to check on the injury. We returned today and she explained the results. She was very thorough! So sorry she's moving. She's an amazing doctor!!!!!

I have been a patient at this practice for over 10 years. I originally switched providers after…read moreexperiencing inappropriate comments about my body from a previous doctor, and until today I had never had an issue here. While waiting in the exam room, I was feeling anxious and warm (it was over 80 degrees outside), so I pulled my hoodie off one shoulder to cool down. When the doctor entered the room with what appeared to be two nurses in training, the very first thing he said to me was, "Cover yourself up appropriately." I was completely taken aback and embarrassed by this comment. It immediately made me feel judged and ashamed, and I found it difficult to focus on the rest of the appointment because I was so upset. No patient should be made to feel uncomfortable or shamed about their appearance, especially in a medical setting where they should feel safe and respected. After more than a decade as a patient, this encounter completely shattered the trust and sense of respect I believed existed between myself and this practice. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated, I will not be returning to this practice. For context, I have attached a photo showing how I was dressed at the time. Given the 82-degree weather and the fact that I had simply moved my hoodie off one shoulder while waiting alone in the exam room, I do not believe the doctor's comment was warranted.

You can come later than that but you risk not getting a spot in the queue. You're then free to leave and go where you please, and you receive a text when it's your turn to be seen. You have 30 minutes to return or you lose your place and have to try again another day. This system has it's flaws, but it is better than waiting hours on their roof in the cold (in December I arrived 30 minutes before they opened and still waited an hour in line). What I also like is that if you reply to the confirmation text with an "S", they tell you how many patients are ahead of you. Really helps planning your day while you wait! I recently came for something besides COVID testing, so I received my confirmation text at 2pm, and got told to come in at 6pm, which was the wait time I had expected. Just pain from the top every time I tried to apply pressure. The front desk staff had me fill out paperwork on an iPad and it was pretty straightforward. It was have been about 5-7 minutes of forms. I sat down and was able to be seen by a physician in 15 minutes. I bought a book to keep myself busy, because my mind was racing. I was panicking thinking how will I walk around if I'm in major pain. I walked in to the room. My blood pressure and stats were taken, and a doctor reviewed my symptoms. I was able to discuss how much it hurt and she was able to press each toe to figure out if I needed an X-ray. I was impressed with the level of precision with the radiologist who took multiple radiographs. He was professional and helpful. It was later than I found out the news. I felt relieved to hear that it wasn't broken, yet the physician handed me a special shoe to wear to keep it protected. The medical team worked together to bring some ease to my day. I appreciate my visit today and felt better with all their care. It was so calming to hear it's probably going to be a few days of the Velcro shoe and then back to normal. I would recommend this place if you are like me and potentially need to get an X-ray.

Their phone / appointment staff are some of the rudest, least helpful people I've ever heard of…read more If you can go there in person and avoid calling them, go for it (the staff in the actual location that treat/help you in person are great, luckily) - but avoid getting on the phone with them at all costs. My wife has a foot fracture and was trying to schedule a follow-up appointment for a specialist, that the CityMD Urgent Care set up for her initially. She called them today to ask if she could be given an appointment a bit closer to home for us than what they'd initially set up - and was told that there might be another option in Queens. We asked for the address of said place in Queens. Kinda important, since we're dealing with a foot fracture and can't move around super easily. At least the block or thereabouts. The lady on the phone flat out REFUSED to give us the address, despite being asked THREE TIMES "please let us know what the address of this place is, so we can see how to get there". Every time she'd avoid giving us a straight answer, almost aggressively. Somehow, someway, the person on the phone simply would not provide a geographical location/address - and doubled-down by telling my wife "if you don't make a decision now, and if you have to cancel the appointment, you'll be in trouble later". We'd completely understand if there were some rule or regulation keeping her from giving us a street address - but she never mentioned anything along those lines. She simply tried to be as unhelpful and rude as possible. Absolute sham of a service, almost malicious incompetence on display. Hope other CityMDs have better staff.
