Jason Todd Hlasnick is a con artist! Do yourself a favor and research him and his companies!!! He uses CFTM Land Management and RGJ Land Services, LLC. Both with a fictitious address. He will take your money but will come up with a mile long list of excuses for not being able to come back to do the work. He will not answer his phone but will respond with long text messages which have become very harassing. Please beware of Jason and his company. We just moved here from out of state and saw him working in the association on other homes and he told us he was a military veteran, so we thought we would give him a chance. If i could rate lower i would this guy is a crook as many other people have unfortunately experienced. He promised met at first to trim about 15 trees, and take down three...then he talked me into taking 3 more down... that was a bad move because then he knew he could pray on me. He wanted a deposit of half upfront. He also said he would throw in a pressure wash for the house and then talked me into installing drainage boxes for my gutters to redirect the water. He said he needed $2000.00 to buy supplies and he never came back. So my wife and I went upto the restaurant that he drinks at after work which is Applebees south side to confront him and he would not come into the restaurant because his so warned him we were there. Paid him to cut down a dead tree. Never came and finished the job. Has left huge pieces of tree all over my yard that we can't possibly move. He said he would come back with a crane and remove and also fix all the divots their equipment left in the yard, but he won't return our calls and hasn't shown up in almost 2 weeks. BEWARE OF SCAMMERS LIKE THIS ONE, I wrote Jason Hlasnick a deposit check (my fault) to do some tree work, after not hearing from him the whole morning after they were supposed to start, a big storm was coming so I asked him to come later in the week, but nothing. I tried to stop payment on my check but it was too late, it was cashed immediately. I kept trying to contact him to see if he was ever coming back but he just kept text me with lies about trucks breaking down, equipment failure, held up on other jobs, even him in a hospital bed from who knows when...all the while blaming me for the job not getting finished, He finally wrote me a refund check but it bounced when I deposited it and cost me more money. For 4 weeks I tried to give him many chances to make it right, but the BS just kept coming. It ended with him cussing at me, taunting me and when I complained about losing money to him, he sent me hearts in a text like he loved ripping me off. JT is a lying con artist. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON. Do yourself a favor.. Hire ANYONE other than this guy. First of all, all he does is sub out the work to other companies. You are literally going to pay this guy to get on his phone and call a different tree removal company to do the work for him. Just cut this guy out of the picture, and call someone else. These guys will promise anything, do some of what you asked for and some you don't. Cut off some branches I asked them not to touch, then didn't want to cut a few others mostly because they couldn't figure out how to do it. BEWARE! JT seemed professional in the beginning, but that quickly changed. They didn't show up the day they were supposed to - he cited equipment issues as the reason for the delay. I let it slide and waited until the next day. The crew that showed up ended up being an entirely different company (Mike Tree Service LLC out of Bartow). It wasn't communicated to me that it wouldn't be CFTM completing the work. Mike's crew did a great job and completed all the cutting we needed, so I didn't think much of it. My only complaint is that they broke a chair that was in my back yard and didn't mention it to me. JT came by that afternoon to collect payment. He told my husband and I then that he would be back out to cut up the large pieces and push them to the road after the city came out and picked up what they could (there was an entire tree from my back yard, large branches from another and an entire HUGE oak tree from the front yard. Basically, there was NO way the city could pick it all up in one trip. We thought that sounded reasonable, so we waited to see what the city would pick up. So the work was completed on 10/19 and the city came by and picked up what they could on Tuesday 10/22. I never heard from JT, so I sent him a text on Friday 10/25 with a picture of what was left to be moved to the street. He told me they would be back that day or "first thing" Monday 10/28 to handle it. Nobody showed up that day or Monday. I waited until 3:48pm (well past "first thing" that morning" and let him know that nobody showed up to complete the work. He asked me to send him my address, so I did. Never heard back. The city picked up a few more pieces the next day 10/29, so I sent him another picture of what was left. Then he text me back saying that he would have his truck come by and pick everything up and haul it away that afternoon. No show, no text or call. Then he text me Thursday 10/31 and told me that he would be by that afternoon or before 8:30am Friday 11/1. You'll never guess what happened next. NOTHING. No call, no show. At this point, I was fed up with waiting. I text him requesting the work be completed by Monday 11/4 so the city could pick the last of it up the next day (referencing the written estimate I had). He responded back, thanking me for the update (???) and advising that he would bring my replacement chair by that day. I ended up locating the company that actually completed the work (Mike) and explained what was going on. He couldn't have been more kind. He apologized and explained that JT had only instructed him to cut the tree down. There was no communication from JT to Mike about getting the debris cut up smaller and moved to the road or coming to pick it up. Mike assured me that HE would take care of it Monday 11/4, or the very latest, Tuesday 11/5. Mike's crew showed up this morning (11/4) and completely cleared my yard of all tree debris. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Mike called me to confirm that everything was done and assured me that he would be dropping off a new chair for me this week. I believe him! I found a few reviews for JT's company that all mention him doing the same thing. This is not ok. Moral of the story is, DO NOT use JT for any work unless you want it to be incomplete and be lied to continually. Contact Mike's Tree Service LLC out of Bartow instead!!! Beware of this company! They were recommended by a co-worker so I contacted them. JT made promises to show up and then wouldn't. When I finally did get them to start the work it took 3 days longer than planned. They pulled out plants in my yard and took down a fence with promises to put it back when they were done they have yet to return. We were excited to have JT and his crew to do the work. JT dropped off his crew and said he would be back in an hour or so. Several hours later, I called to see if was coming by. He had promised to complete the work the following day. They were a no-show. We called him and he was unable to go to the nursery to bring ten trees he was suppose to plant on Friday and said it would be early the next week. He never did come back to complete our yard and plant the trees. We waited almost 10 days and he did not return our calls. Needless to say we had to hire someone to finish the work. Fortunately, I only paid for the portion he had done, though most companies ask for payment after the work is complete. He wanted payment at the end of the first day even though it was a twos day clean-up job. Needless to say we were not satisfied with his broken contract. well Unfortunatley I used CFTM Land Management for taking down some trees in my back yard, the trees came down OK, and I hauled all the big heavy stuff out front for them where they said that there truck was coming over in a few minutes to take all the branches and trunks away. I paid them...BIG MISTAKE....truck never came, Mike Doyle said it was a few houses away and would be here shortly...Never came, next day was saturday, he came over and said they had truble with someone they hired and he would get it done before the end of the day....no one came, sunday night I called again, he said the truck would be here 1st thing in the morning....Never showed up,,,,Tuesday he said they hired another co. ADS to take the stuff away would be done today ( meaning Tuesday ) no one came..I left messages at all there phone numbers ...No Answer at any of them, they appear to be avoiding me...Today is Thursday and still avoiding me, or at least not returning my calls anymore...I have been very patient, and courteous, but not anymore, my lawn is probably dead, I cannot use entrance to back yard Garage, I will file with the BBB and post more feed back shortly on other sites, hoping that others will not have to go thru this process.... read more

I was actually contacted by JT...I did not call him. We needed some trees removed, and had been talking about it. When JT contacted me, I read the reviews. I almost said no, but this guy kept bugging me to let him do the work! Saying no would have been a huge mistake. He wrote a contract and told me what he would do. From the first minute he did exactly what he said he would do. Make no mistake he does not work alone. His entire crew worked very, very hard. I have absolutely zero complaints. He showed up when he said he would...And did everything he could to please us. Unfortunately, he removed all of my problem trees so I will not need his services for a long time. I will tell my friends, family, and even strangers about CFTM. His crew damaged nothing, and they did a fantastic job of cleaning up. I feel like every dime I paid was well spent.
