Complete shambles. They left my house unsecured overnight because they did not coordinate the locks…read moreto be fitted on the day of the door installation (which resulted in emergency locks having to be fitted the next day). They also supplied a bespoke entrance system, which simply doesn't work. Plus, they processed the order for the entrance system incorrectly and have over charged me for the monitors, with no indication of when I will be receiving the refund (which they acknowledge is due). Finally, I ordered new door furniture. None of it matched despite purporting to be in the same finish and they completely omitted one aspect which I am am still waiting for. The worst supplier experience I have had in a very long time.

The installation engineer (M Walshe), in particular, really exceeded my expectations. There were a few uncertain technical issues when installation began - Mark discussed with me and came up with an alternate solution (better than what I'd originally proposed) and was able to adjust the quote and bring in the additional equipment needed the next day. It was a pretty stress-free installation - Mark did everything and left hardly a trace - Very clean, neat, and tidy work. The CCTV app for viewing works really well, and I'm able to share viewing permissions with others in the building, but choose exactly what permissions they get (for example, live view only of only those cameras I select).

Verisure Smart Alarm

Verisure Smart Alarm

Worst company I've ever had the misfortune to be a customer of, was previously with ADT who are…read moremuch much better. In the nearly 10 months I've been with Verisure I've had over 20 engineer call outs and my alarm system has had ongoing major issues during that entire period. I've spent hours and hours on the phone to Verisure and they are hilariously bad. For the moment (as an example) our alarm triggers constantly throughout the day for no reason. When you need to complain, or get an engineer or ANYTHING at all, you call up customer services who say a ticket has been raised and someone will call you back. No one ever calls and there is no record of a a ticket 99/100 times. If you need help then it means (literally) hours on the phone begging and arguing. When you get off the phone nothing happens and no record of your call. I have been trying to cancel my contract for months. However, you can't just cancel. You need to call up customer service who raise a cancellation ticket. The cancellation team then call you back. After weeks of trying to get a call back (amazing way to steal from your customers is by simply not letting them cancel) I finally had a call back from one agent who totally failed to care or recognise that over my 12 month contract period I have had over 20 call outs and a non fully functioning alarm system. He told me that someone would call me back... guess what? No call-back and I'm back to square one trying to leave with people promising to call me back and no one calling. Trapped in a Verisure hell. There are so so so many bad things with this company (apart from the fact they are unable to provide a working alarm system). No one leaves notes on your account after technical issues, call outs, service calls so there is NO HISTORY of your problems. They have a strange central / regional office structure whereby the central team and the regional teams have no contact and constantly blame problems on each other. I don't understand how this company has any customer left (apart from the fact that they force you to stay by refusing to put your through to cancellations). They also constantly try to hard sell you in a very aggressive way, even when your desperate to leave them. I am currently completing my forms to take Verisure to small claims court in order to cancel my contract and provide me with a refund. When the court case is complete - I really am now looking forward to doing this. Will be so satisfying. I will come back into Trust Pilot and give you good folk an update on how my court case went and any lessons learnt. I am also seeking a domain (just working though the best SEO) where i will signpost struggling Verisure customers on how to take on this bunch of thieves in court and get a refund alongside release from your contracts. When this domain is set and I will update here. I can't wait to get back to ADT who provided me with 10 years of good service and actually functions like a real alarm company rather than this absolute bunch of incompetent thieves. If yo are thinking about changing to Verisure then DO NOT DO THIS. You will regret it... I also suspect a lot of the five start reviews on here are Verisure generated. Worst company globally in terms of service, provide non-functioning faulty alarm systems, expensive and totally useless. This company doesn't deserve to exist. If they allowed their customers to cancel their contracts (as opposed to using every nasty, dirty trick to block your cancellation) I assume they would go into administration. In fact, if they did go into administration, I would probably throw a celebration in honour of this. I'm case I've not made my feelings clear enough... only use Verisure if you want to pay a lot of money for a faulty alarm system that consumes hours and days of your time and which they refuse to remove from your house.

Unbelievable arrogance by Verisure's Case Manager named Luke…read more My household has been a Verisure customer since May 2016. In all those years, we have never called them into action. The only interaction has been My Verisure app (full of bugs, we stopped using it after a couple of years) and once every 3 years the change of the control panel battery. Some would say we're the ideal customer... Not Verisure... Through gross negligence and awful customer service, Verisure have pushed us away. WE BELIEVE IT WAS DELIBERATE; BECAUSE, AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, WE'VE GOT A MONTHLY FEE LOWER THAN WHAT A NEW CUSTOMER HAS TO PAY IF SIGNING IN TODAY. Why am I saying this? Between March 2022 and Jun 2022, Verisure set 6 (six) appointment to remove their own gear from our previous property and re-install it at our new property. In each and every one of those cases, the Verisure engineer didn't show up - with no notice whatsoever. Every time, it was ourselves who called to find out what had happened - and got a lame excuse: "the engineer was delayed at a previous job, we have to re-schedule". The 6th time this happened, we informed Verisure Customer "Service" of our intention to leave; and they promised they'd contact us withing 3 working days to close the contract. 3 weeks(!) later, we got a call from Verisure - in the person of "Luke, Case Manager" (last name was never mentioned). I for one couldn't believe the nerve of this gentleman: - he pretended that everyone else at Verisure who interacted with us before was an incompetent; that all this happened because he (Luke) was on holidays (!); and that he "surely will sort things out" for us; - when told that we don't trust Verisure anymore and have appointed another Supplier - Luke insisted we recommended somebody else to take over the contract; - he kept calling back, asking whether we found the replacement. All this strengthens the opinion on Verisure that we've formed throughout the past 4 months: VERISURE DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, ONLY THEIR BOTTOMLINE. I'm writing this to raise awareness of Verisure's despicable behaviour - for the benefit of new and existing customers. While asking them to pay more and more money for a service which is 100% facade and 0% substance: their alarm is a toy, good only for deterrence purposes; in case of a real emergency - you're as protected with Verisure as you are without it.
