This saloon is over priced and all they care about is making money. When my daughter started going there she had long thick beautiful hair. Now she has over processed dead uneven hair. If the hairdresser was decent she would refuse to color her hair. Instead they color it and con her into using protein and scalp treatments. Once your hair is dead there is no repairing it. It needs a break from too much coloring. Any decent hairdresser would refuse to color it. read more

this is in response to Danielle's post after reading my review. I was abdolutely singled out for price increase on the day of my visit. I was taken into back room to be told my price for color was increasing. I was told $10.00 not $5.00. also there were 3 other color customers there that day and not 1 was taken into back room to be informed of price increase. if it was an increase across the board most salons pist a sign for all to see. On 10/26/2019, my mom and I went to C'est Chic Hairstyling Salon at 1678 Bridge Street in Dracut for a cut and a color. Our appointments were at 10:30am with Danielle, the owner. She did not arrive to the salon until 2:30pm. We had decided to stay against our better judgment. We were at the salon until 6:45pm. Upon her arrival there was no apology given for her tardiness. Nor did she recognize our time & patience for waiting. I was charged over $400 for the services and my mother was charged around $125 for her services. At the time I didn't consider not paying or that I should have been compensated for our inconveniences. Feeling that we were taken advantage of and over-charged, I contacted the salon requesting refund. The employee who I spoke reached out to the owner with my request and stated that she denied my request and that I can have my lawyer contact their lawyer. I am absolutely horrified at how disrespectful she was to our schedules, the lack of professionalism and not willing to provide any compensation. It's so sad because the support staff there were incredibly welcoming and genuine. Please help me spread the word of this women's treatment to other women. This is a lesson for me about standing up for myself in the moment and a lesson for her about service and professionalism. read more

Love coming to Cest chic due to them being super clean and friendly. They make sure their clients are accommodated and well cared for. Personally I have been going to Kerith for about 10 years now. I have gotten numerous amount of services done by her prom hair, full face makeup, different highlight services, paint, and haircuts. I have never once left with hair I did not love. The color that I received here looked really good, but that was about it. The hair cut was so bad that I cried the second I got into my car to leave, and then proceeded to cry for several more months until it grew out and looked somewhat acceptable again. I asked for a trim and the stylist legitimately chopped all of my hair off. As others have stated, the stylist was also extremely inconsiderate when it came to valuing my time and was late to arrive for both my consultation and actual appointment, so much so that I literally ended up spending about 8 hours there. Not to mention, the stylist was also working on several other clients while doing my hair at the same time. It honestly felt like I was playing musical chairs because I was being moved around from seat to seat while she worked on other people. It was also really loud and not relaxing at all. Best salon ever! I end up spending more money trying different salons and always come back to Danielle to have her fix my hair. She's an artist. Everyone at the salon is super friendly. The atmosphere is very top notch and inviting. They are super clean and especially during COVID I was very comfortable being there. Danielle always listens to what you want and does exactly what you ask. I was a walk in who struck gold!!! I thought I was going in to make an appointment but stylist/ owner Danielle took a look at my roots and just had to help me. Even though they were busy ( a lot of regulars whom they knew by name) they were able to accommodate me and made me feel like family. Came here to get a haircut. Showed the stylist pictures of bobs- I requested a short, neck length bob. I came out of the salon with a pixie cut. I don't know how a bob turned out to be a pixie. The stylist thought I would look good with a pixie hairstyle so she decided to something completely different from what I said. Currently still waiting for my hair to grow back.. and it's growing back horribly. Uneven layers and what not. Would have loved to come back because it's a modern salon, but I have too much PTSD from this place. read more

Just want to update. Booked Patrick and the team for my wedding on August second. My present to my bridesmaids was covering their hair and makeup for my event. The salon was closed exclusively for us.. Music, snacks, nerves and tons of laugher!!!! We had an incredibly memorable experience wth this salon. I've been coming to this salon and seeing Katie for 5+ years and she never fails to give me a beautiful cut or color. The salon is modern and always clean and accommodating. Katie really listens to what you want which is so important. She's wonderful and really cares that you leave feeling beautiful and happy. I've had her cut and style both of my daughters as well including most recently my 2 year olds first hair cut, which was the most stress free experience. I came here on the strong recommendations of people I trust so I was surprised by the lack of professionalism and the poor color I received. First of all, never trust what they quote you over the phone. I had a single process color which starts at $40 BUT if they need a second bowl of color it's an extra $40! What? I could almost see another 5 or so to cover the extra color cost but $40 is excessive. A color does NOT include a blow-dry. A blow dry is an $35!!! How on earth can the stylist know if the color worked if the client walks away with wet hair? They have no respect/concept of time. I waited 20 minutes before I was seated. Everything took very long and left 45 minutes later than expected. I'm told by others that I was "lucky." What? They do not put a barrier on your skin. 3 days later and my hairline and cheeks are still stained. And my hair is burgundy pink. I wanted a coppery red. I specifically stated that I didn't like wine colored hair. Yet, that is what I have. They do not guarantee their colors, I was informed that I might be charged to have my hair fixed. MIGHT? There should be no charge! I wasn't asking for highlights or anything else. I decided to let a someone else fix it. If I have to pay I may as well go somewhere else. RIDICULOUS. read more

She gave me the BEST short cut ever, used all sorts of scissors and methods and did it all so fast I was *almost* concerned- the result was epic and fabulous. Tha ABSOLUTE WORST cut and color I have ever had. And probably the most expensive at $190 dollars. The cut or color didn't come close to either the picture or the color I select from THEIR chart. It took 4+ hours to do a simple cut and color (stylist worked on other clients during my appointment time and ATE DINNER). This salon is FAR TOO EXPENSIVE and they take WAY TOO LONG to do their job. The owner did offer to have me come back in to condition my hair because whatever they did left my hair dull and crispy. I declined since they did enough damage! I would not go there again for any reason. It's been 6 weeks and I've had the cut fixed but my hair is still damaged and will need to grow out. Even though they boast that they are the most educated "salon" around and command "Boston" prices, they are NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR THE TIME unless you want pink, purple or some funky colored hair without going into town. read more
